Lee Carsley’s immaculate, unbeaten, 100% winning streak as England manager continued last night…

That’s now two (count ‘em) out of two wins for the new man in the tracksuit.

Tongue firmly out of cheek now, and on the stats and betting front - which is what you and I are primarily concerned with here. England clocked up another comfortable corner-winning score on Tuesday evening. With an 8-2 tally in their 2-0 Wembley win over Finland easing past the bookies’ -4 (or -5) Corner Handicap lines.

Along with a fun 2-2 draw between Netherlands and Germany (that’s now six out of seven meetings going Over 2.5 Goals for those two). It was good to get two W’s on the chart for us from Monday’s advice…

After a stop-start beginning to the new season, with the top-flight domestic fixtures returning this weekend, we can now crack on with our weekly betting business, ‘across the leagues’...

Premier League prep…

Talking of 100% records consisting of very small samples of form. Lee Carsley’s England aren’t the only side with new-season 100% stats to keep an eye on…

In the Premier League, for example. The info on your members-only Across the Leagues website shows that, with three games in the book so far this term:

• Arsenal and Nottingham Forest are both 100% for Under 2.5 Goals…

• While Everton are the only side 100% for Over 2.5 Goals (3 out of 3 defeats there, too - and also a full house for Under 3.5 Cards for the Toffees)...

• Bournemouth and Leicester are 100% for Both Teams to Score payouts…

• And Tottenham are the only team in the Premier League to have won the Most Corners in all 3 of their games…
