Getting festive at 286/1…

We’ve got a packed fixture list to look forward to this week. With Christmas fast approaching, the games are coming thick and fast...

Using the stats for 17 leagues on our website as a starting point, I’ll be plotting a course through the action, aiming to pick off some appealing bets and prices along the way.

Tonight alone, we have games in the Premier League, English Football League (EFL), the Bundesliga in Germany, Serie A in Italy, and La Liga in Spain.

The bulk of the action in the top leagues takes place on Wednesday evening. We might even be making a stop off in the Russian Premier League tomorrow, too.

Today’s main area of focus is the EFL, where there’s a full Tuesday evening programme in League One and League Two. See below for the latest list of Win & Both Teams to Score contenders.

Anytime Scorers – two value prices for tonight…

I make no apologies for repeating some frequently featured names here. These guys keep on scoring, and the prices continue to be on the right side of value, too…

In action this evening, and priced up at more than decent odds:

  • Watford v BrentfordIvan Toney is top scorer in the Championship, with 15 goals from 18 starts for Brentford. The Scorers stats on our site show that Toney is also No.1 in the Championship for Anytime Scorer payouts (12), and First Goalscorer bets (6)

Tonight’s top Anytime price of 15/8  (2.88) for Toney would’ve produced a 91.67% ROI if backed to level stakes in all 18 games. The figure for First Scorer at 4/1 (5.0) comes out at 66.67% ROI. Toney has landed Anytime Scorer in 5 of his last 6 games.

  • Cheltenham v BoltonEoin Doyle has also scored in 5 of his last 6 games

A 33/1 Each Way selection in the League Two Top Goalscorer market last month (now down to 10/1 and 5/1), Doyle continues to be priced up in the match-day markets at appealing odds of 2/1+ (3.0+)...

Maybe that’s because he plays for Bolton, who are struggling, while last season he was top scorer in this division with Swindon, who won automatic promotion. Most weeks last season, Doyle was around 10/11 (1.91) and Evens (2.0) in the weekly Anytime Scorer markets.

In the last month I’ve flagged up the Irishman three times at odds of 2/1+, finding two payouts. Away at 2nd place Cheltenham tonight, the Irishman catches the eye at 14/5 (3.8) and 13/5 (3.6). Backed at those prices in every game since joining Bolton this season, Doyle’s Anytime Scorer profit figures comes out at 90% ROI and 80% ROI, respectively.

Win & Both Teams to Score contenders…

The EFL has been a good source of Win/ Both Teams to Score (BTTS) match-ups for us in recent weeks. The formbook is bristling, and the games are coming twice a week in these divisions…

Today I’ve got four games in my sights in this department. Taking the lead from the new Win & BTTS tables on our website:

Doncaster v Swindon (League One, 7pm)

  • Doncaster are joint-1st in League One for Win & BTTS payouts this season, with 5 of their 8 victories paying out on the Match Result with goals at both ends. That includes 4 of their 5 home wins. Both Teams to Score has paid out in 88% of Doncaster home games, and 75% of Swindon away games. The visitors are in a relegation scrap, losing 4 of their last 5

Doncaster to Win & Both Teams to Score is 9/4 (3.25) and 11/5 (3.2).

Oldham v Walsall (League Two, 7pm)

  • Oldham are the top-ranked team in League Two for Win & BTTS, with all 7 of their wins this season paying out in this market. That includes in 4 of their last 5 games. Walsall have an 88% record for Both Teams to Score on the road, and each of their last 4 matches overall have produced goals at both ends of the park

Oldham to Win & Both Teams to Score is 19/4 (5.75) and 9/2 (5.5).

Exeter v Harrogate (League Two, 7.45pm)

  • Exeter are 4th and pushing for promotion. Both Teams to Score has paid out in 6 of their last 7 games, with Win & BTTS delivering in 4 of their last 6 triumphs. Exeter have scored in 15 out of 17 games (88%), but only managed 4 Clean Sheets all season. Harrogate have lost 4 in a row

Exeter to Win & Both Teams to Score is 5/2 (3.5) and 12/5 (3.4).

Crawley v Bradford (League Two, 7.45pm)

  • Crawley are on a 5-game run in all comps for Both Teams to Score, and 3 of their last 4 victories have paid out on Win & BTTS. Bradford are on a 6-game losing streak in all comps, with 3 of their last 4 defeats ticking the box for Win & BTTS

Crawley to Win & Both Teams to Score is 17/5 (4.4) and 10/3 (4.33).

Take your pick…

As ever, my advice with these selections is to pick & choose, however you prefer – Singles, Doubles, Trebles, Patents, and any manner of combinations…

There are 4 matches on my list today and that’s about as ambitious as I’d go in terms of a Win & BTTS acca. The form is there and the prices are encouraging…

I’m going for my usual three-markets approach.

Doncaster, Oldham, Exeter, Crawley:

Match Win acca pays 16/1.

Both Teams to Score acca pays 8/1 (9.0) and 15/2 (8.5).

Win & BTTS acca treble pays 286/1, 265/1 and 240/1+.
