I’ll spare you the gory details, but I’ve been laid low by some kind of stomach bug this week…

Let’s get straight down to business with our stats and selections for this weekend’s games…

On the Premier League Most Bookings table on our website, this game is top v bottom. With Everton collecting the Most Cards/ Booking Points in three out of three home games so far, and five out of six overall (83%). While Newcastle are yet to land this bet in any of their six games…

However, on closer inspection, the stats don’t make the hosts such a clear bet. For example, our Premier League Totals page shows that Everton have committed 27 Fouls on their own patch so far… while Newcastle have committed 22 Fouls on the road. Not much in it.

Not for the first time, we turn instead to the Player to be Carded market. And a decent price for Newcastle’s combative and hard-chasing midfielder, Joelinton…
