Wembley winners at last…

After a couple of very near misses at Wembley Stadium this spring. With Brighton and Coventry losing in penalty-shootouts when carrying our cash…

Or if you, like me, still sometimes think about England losing on pens against Italy in the Euro 2020 Final…

It was a sweet feeling to get our 34/1 Playoff Finals treble over the line at Wembley over the Bank Holiday weekend…

We made our Football League Playoff Finals picks this time last week. In which we went for a trio of Draws at the national stadium…

All three finals went to Extra Time, with the Championship and League Two games going all the way to Penalties.

The three all-important Normal Time score-lines for us:

Championship - Coventry 1 Luton 1
League One - Barnsley 0 Sheffield Wednesday 0
League Two - Carlisle 1 Stockport 1

“What a result!”

As well as the Draws, all 3 games also went Under 2.5 Goals. And I’ve received a great email and winning screenshot from Across the Leagues member Chris, who backed the lot. Including a big winning Trixie…

John B writes in to say he made over £600…

“It’s always hard to predict one draw never mind three. I did really well on that. Made almost as much as I made from this year’s winning bet builder … I usually place £2 on the treble too, but I had £9.50 of free bets with bet365. so put that on and 50p of my own money. so you can probably guess made over £600 in total. I forgot I placed the £10 treble, so you can imagine I jumped for joy when I logged into my bet365 account…” - John B

Ian C made a smart move and guaranteed a profit in-play yesterday afternoon…

Cup Finals coming up…

The domestic league seasons are pretty much done now. But we’re far from finished with our big-odds business…

Before we look ahead to next season’s ante-post markets. Our pre-season, 2022/23 UEFA cups mega-acca is still alive, with a small-stakes 51.5/1 double running on Roma to win the Europa League, and Manchester City for the Champions League…

• Wed 31st May, Europa League Final: Sevilla v Roma

• Sat 10th June, Champions League Final: Man City v Inter Milan

And the trophy matches keep on coming…

Including the Europa Conference League Final next Wednesday evening, 7th June - Fiorentina v West Ham Utd.

And this Saturday afternoon, we’ll be back at Wembley, and back with our head in the big-odds Bet Builder stats - for the FA Cup Final, Man City v Man Utd (Sat 3rd June).
