The likes of Sunderland, Newcastle and Hull may all be struggling near the bottom of the Premier League table – but they are also providing some of the most reliable bets going at this stage of the season...

All of our weekend Picks involved teams in or around the Relegation places, and the highly-rated trends on show produced 4 out of 5 winners from our Stats Picks...

• Sunderland have now received the Most Cards/ Booking Points in 9 Away games in a row – and 82% for the season

• Newcastle have won the Most Corners in their last 6 Home games – and in 78% for the season. With -1 Corner Handicap bets paying out in 5 of their last 6 at St James’ Park

• Under 2.5 Goals bets have paid out in 4 of Hull’s last 5 games

And two consistent trends also continued for two sides that have now been confirmed as Relegated...

• Bets on QPR to receive the Most Cards/ Booking Points have paid out in 9 of their last 11 games – and in 6 of their last 7 Away
  
  
• Under 2.5 Goals bets have paid out in each of Burnley’s last 11 games – with Burnley scoring just 3 goals in that period

At the top of the table, champions Chelsea also kept up their solid Under 2.5 Goals form with a 1-1 draw v Liverpool. Under 2.5 Goals bets have now paid out in 10 of Chelsea’s last 11 Home games.

No joy from our bigger price Value Picks this week but we were in the right ball park with our Friday analysis... Leicester beat Southampton but the 2-goal margin was one goal too many for us...

While with our Scorer picks, we ruled out a bet on Sergio Aguero based on price (@ 11/4) and of course he duly popped up after just 4 minutes to land First Scorer bets for a remarkable 5th game on the trot.
