A solid week on the stats...

It was a good weekend for our Picks with the stats leading us to 5 out of 6 winning bet selections – including a couple of nice prices with 9/2 and 6/1 First Scorer payouts.

With 80-odd games of the season still to go we’ll be looking to latch onto more winning trends like Southampton’s Under 2.5 Goals run (8 games in a row now) and Tottenham’s Over 2.5 Goals streak (11 games in a row).

And as well as our top-rated Stats Picks, we’ll be on the lookout for more big-price payouts from our Value Picks.

Weekend results:

Stats Picks – looking to cash-in on the top-rated bets flagged up by the stats:

  • Southampton v Burnley – Under 2.5 Goals @ 10/11 – WON (Result: 2-0)
  • Tottenham v Leicester – Tottenham to Win & Both Teams to Score @ 23/10 – WON (Result: 4-3)
  • Hull v Chelsea – Over 3.5 Cards @ 4/6 – LOST (2 Cards)
  • Hull v Chelsea – Time of First Goal – 30th Minute or Before @ 20/21 – WON (First Goal 2 Mins)

Value Picks – our pick of the best value prices on offer:

  • Newcastle v Arsenal – First Scorer – Olivier Giroud @ 9/2 – WON
  • Hull v Chelsea – First Scorer – Eden Hazard @ 6/1 – WON

Following all 6 selections to level stakes produced 13.66 pts profit at the weekend, for a 228% Return on Investment.

Three of our 4 Stats Picks paid out, which is a healthy strike-rate.

While everything went to plan with our 2 Value Picks with both Olivier Giroud @ 9/2 or 4/1 and Eden Hazard @ 6/1 landing First Scorer payouts. At those kind of prices we can’t expect to land them every week – the plan is to show a profit in the long run. Last time out none of our 3 Value Picks won... this weekend both came in at attractive prices.

Giroud and Hazard strike again...

We’ll be identifying the top-rated bets on the stats, and the best value prices available, when the Premier League returns next weekend (Easter Weekend). The league takes a break this week with Euro 2016 Qualifiers and International Friendly matches taking place.

When the domestic action resumes we’ll be looking to cash-in on more top trends like these...

Eden Hazard took just 2 minutes to open the scoring at Hull on Sunday. Five of the last 8 goals that Hazard has scored for Chelsea have landed First Scorer bets – and 7 of his last 8 goals have come in Away games.

Olivier Giroud’s scoring streak continued – he scored the First Goal at Newcastle after 24 minutes on Saturday, and added a second for Arsenal just 4 minutes later. Giroud has now scored in 7 of his last 9 games and has landed First Scorer bets in 6 out of 9.

And on the ‘team stats’ front...

  • Arsenal have won 6 Premier League games in a row, and 9 of their last 10
  • Under 2.5 Goals bets have paid out in 8 Southampton games in a row
  • Over 2.5 Goals bets have paid out in 11 consecutive Tottenham games
  • ‘Win & Both Teams to Score’ bets have paid out in each of Tottenham’s last 7 Home wins
  • Sunderland have received the Most Cards/ Booking Points in 6 Away games in a row, and 80% for the season
  • Time of First Goal – 27th Minute or Before bets have paid out in Chelsea’s last 7 Away games, and 73% for the season

Those are just a few of the winning streaks and profitable trends that we’ll be targeting between now and the end of the season. Plenty to look forward to...

Roll on Easter...

I’ll be back with the stats you need to know and our next Premier League Picks in your Easter weekend email on Thursday 2nd April.
