In your Prem10 – Recommended Bets email today:
- Latest results – no joy on New Year’s Day…
- FA Cup this weekend – 4 all-Premier League ties…
- Next bets next Friday…
- In search of 10/1 Correct Score profits…
The stats flagged up 5 bets for us on New Year's Day, but the results went completely against the run of form – with our first blank of the season.
Newcastle were 5-0 up on the Corners and in a winning position for our Corner Handicap bet for most of their game v Burnley, but threw that lead away. And inexplicably, West Ham – who have been one of the strongest Corner winners in the league this season – failed to win a single corner kick at Home v West Brom. View the full Results here.
We look forward to getting back to winning ways when the Premier League returns next weekend – with 180 games ahead of us as we enter the second half of the season.

Next bets next Friday…
Our next Recommended Bets will be for the next round of Premier League games on the weekend of 10th Jan.
Your Recommended Bets email will be sent to you by email and posted on the Latest Bets page on our site on Friday 9th January.
That fixture list includes Sunderland v Liverpool, Palace v Tottenham, Arsenal v Stoke and Man Utd v Southampton all live on TV. We’ll be using our unique Head-2-Head stats to identify the top-rated bets and the best moneymaking opportunities from across the full set of 10 games.
And with the next round of games and beyond in mind, here are some of the most common (and profitable) Correct Score bets in the Premier League this season.
Keep an eye on these three…
In search of 10/1 Correct Score profits…
Over Christmas we flagged up a 9/1 winner in our ‘Eye-catcher’ bets from Tottenham’s most common score-line – the 2-1 win. They beat Leicester by that score on Boxing Day to notch their 6th 2-1 win of the season. No Correct Score bet has paid out on any team more often than that this season.
Here are the two other most common scores, and the profit figures…
Correct Score: Tottenham to win 2-1 @ 8/1
Payouts = 6
Average odds = 8/1
Profit if backed to level £10 stakes in all 20 games so far = £340
ROI = 170%
Next fixture… Away v Crystal Palace
Correct Score: Chelsea to win 2-0 @ 5/1
Payouts = 6
Average odds = 5/1
Profit if backed to level £10 stakes in all 20 games so far = £160
ROI = 80%
Next fixture… Home v Newcastle
Correct Score: Sunderland to draw 0-0 @ 10/1
Payouts = 6
Average odds = 10/1
Profit if backed to level £10 stakes in all 20 games so far = £460
ROI = 230%
Next fixture… Home v Liverpool
We’re monitoring all the Correct Score trends – and highly-rated bets across all markets – and we’ll be looking to cash-in again soon with our big-price weekend Eye-catcher picks. Starting with next weekend’s games…
Until then,
Best wishes,
