One goal away from a 28/1 winner…
A fluke goal at Newcastle meant we just missed out on the full 28/1 payout from our weekend Eye-catcher picks – but Liverpool and Chelsea both won To Nil to give a 6/1 payout from our ‘Win To Nil’ Trixie…
It was a record Saturday for Away wins – 6 of the 7 Premier League fixtures saw the visiting team take all three points. We highlighted 3 of those Away wins with our 28/1 Trixie:
Liverpool won 2-0 at Villa. That was Liverpool’s third Away win To Nil in a row. And Villa have now failed to score in 5 of their last 6 Premier League games.
Chelsea thrashed Swansea 5-0 at the Liberty Stadium. Swansea have now failed to score in 4 out of 5 meetings with Chelsea. And Chelsea’s last 7 Premier League wins have all paid out in the Win To Nil market.
Southampton were the final leg of our Trixie. They won 2-1 at Newcastle, with the Home team’s goal coming with a large slice of good fortune, a clearance striking Newcastle’s Gouffran and looping into the net.
Good fortune was nowhere to be seen with our main Recommended Bets. Leicester had a 5-1 lead over Stoke on the Corner count with half an hour left but couldn’t stay far enough ahead to land our –1 Corner Handicap bet (result: 6-5). While Man City failed to receive the Most Cards/ Booking Points for the first time in 7 meetings against Arsenal (results: City 3 Cards, Arsenal 3 Cards). See below for the full results.
