On Saturday evening Sunderland became the first team this season to stop Chelsea from scoring – an achievement which took down our Recommended Bet on Both Teams to Score...

No joy from our big-price Eye-catcher pick this week, either. The stats flagged up the QPR 2-0 Correct Score v Leicester @ 12/1, but that match ended up in a in a 3-2 Home win (at odds of 28/1).

All our weekly selections are strongly supported by the stats – we only bet on the highest-rated outcomes, based on our team data and Head-2-Head statistics.
A couple of against-the-grain results prevented us from getting in profit from our Recommended Bets at the weekend – Leicester scoring a 1st Half goal Away from home for the first time all season, and Chelsea failing to score for the first time all season, being two of the main let-downs.
Results went against us again this week – but there are plenty of reasons to be positive. We are just 1/3rd of the way into the 38-week season. And as the games come thick and fast over the Christmas period (including a double helping of games this week – see below), the stronger and more reliable the stats and winning trends will become.
