Results - City on form but Southampton slip up...
Monday 6th October 2014
In your Prem10 – Results email today:
- Recommended Bets – Weekend Results...
- This week – International break...
- Coming up Friday: Top-rated bets – the season so far...
There’s daylight at the top of the Premier League table after Chelsea and Man City both won again at the weekend. Third place Southampton’s 4-game winning streak came to an end at Tottenham – taking down one of our Recommended Bets.
Overall there were 7 Home wins, 2 Draws and 1 Away win (Man City) at the weekend. The stats pointed us in the right direction with the likes of Chelsea and West Ham to win at Home, but a couple of against-the-formbook Total Goals and Both Teams to Score results stopped us getting in profit.
There are plenty of strong betting trends emerging though, and with 31 rounds of games still to go this season, we’ll be expecting many more winning weeks than losing weeks by following the stats. On Friday we’ll report on the season so far. See below for our weekend results.
Weekend results
The stats led us to 6 Recommended Bets that met our criteria:
- We only bet on the highest-rated outcomes, based on the stats (we only bet on 70%+ statistical trends)
- And we only bet at odds of around Evens or better, ensuring a double-your-money payout (at least) from each winning bet
- Bets that meet our 70%+ stats criteria but are only available at shorter, odds-on prices will be considered in Doubles, Trebles and Accumulators for payouts at Evens or better

Taking a closer look at the stats...
Crystal Palace matched Hull City for Shots on Saturday – but couldn’t get the goal that would’ve landed our 2/1 Both Teams to Score double (with Man Utd v Everton settling as a winner in the other half of that double). A Palace goal would’ve put us in profit for the week overall.
Man City landing our Corners bet at Villa, winning 7 corners to nil. City have now landed -2 Corner Handicap bets in each of their last 5 Premier League games. One to watch...
Coming up: Top-rated bets – the season so far...
There’s an International break this weekend for the Euro 2016 Qualifiers. That means no Premier League games or bets for us this week. But look out for your Prem10 email as usual on Friday where we’ll be taking a look at the top stats, betting trends and most profitable teams to follow so far in the 2014/15 season.
All of which will give us plenty of pointers ahead of the next round of games – which includes Man City v Tottenham.
Back on Friday,
Best wishes,
