Weekend results - and Liverpool v Tottenham tomorrow...

Monday 9th February 2015

In your Prem10 – Results email today:

  • Weekend results – Sunderland the strongest trend...
  • Man City: corner-winning machine...
  • Coming up this week – games Tuesday and Wednesday night...

Sunderland proves the strongest trend...

We flagged up Sunderland’s ‘Most Bookings’ record as one of the stats of the weekend in our Friday email – and that trend continued with the Black Cats picking up 4 Yellow Cards (to 3) at Swansea...

That was the only success from our 3 Prem10 Picks though – with Gareth Barry managing not to get himself booked in what was a surprisingly low-key Merseyside derby, and Hull receiving the Most Cards for just the 2nd time in 11 Away games.

Weekend results:

Our 3 weekend Prem10 Picks produced a -1.17 pts loss if backed to level stakes. Here are the results:

  • Man City v Hull: Bookings Match Bet – Man City @ 9/4 – LOST
  • Swansea v Sunderland: Bookings Match Bet – Sunderland @ 5/6 – WON
  • Everton v Liverpool: To Get a Card – Gareth Barry @ 6/4 – LOST

We’ll be looking to target the best value prices on offer on some of the top-rated trends again with the midweek games...

Man City – corner-winning machine...

One stat of particular note from the weekend is Man City winning the Most Corners. Having been a goal down for 55 minutes v Hull, they racked up a huge corner tally of 13 to 1...

That’s the 4th Home game in a row where City have covered a -5 Corner Handicap (eg. winning at least 6 corners more than opponents). We ruled out the -6 Handicap last weekend as that is an exceptionally high line to be betting at.... but if City continue to dominate the corner counts in this way, then those Handicaps will start to present a bit more betting value for us.

Remember – you keep track of the latest Match Results, Goals, Corners, Cards & Bookings trends on our site.

Coming up this week – games on Tuesday and Wednesday...

This week the Premier League action comes early with a full programme of games across Tuesday and Wednesday night. Including Liverpool v Tottenham and Chelsea v Everton live on BT Sport...

I’ll be back by 4.00pm tomorrow with your Midweek Preview email – containing the stats you need to know, and aiming to cash-in on the best value prices available with our Prem10 Picks.

Until then,

Best wishes,
