The stats deliver winners from Kane, Saints and City’s sinners...
Thursday 12th February 2015
In your Prem10 – Results email today:
- Midweek results...
- Man City make it 5 in a row...
- A note on your Prem10 service...
- FA Cup this weekend...
The midweek games produced some positive results on the stats – with all 3 of our Prem10 Picks paying out.
We’ve been following Man City’s Most Cards & Bookings trend for several weeks now, and got our reward with City winning 2 Yellow Cards to Stoke’s 1. Man City have now landed that bet in each of their last 5 Away games – and 77% for the season.
Elsewhere, Harry Kane kept up his superb scoring record to land Anytime Scorer bets in the Liverpool v Tottenham game – Kane has now scored 11 of Tottenham’s last 20 Premier League goals.
And despite having their goalkeeper sent off, West Ham recorded their 5th Under 2.5 Goals game in a row on the road at Southampton. The Saints have now landed Under 2.5 Goals bets in 6 of their last 7 Premier League games, too...
Midweek results:
Our 3 Prem10 Picks produced a +4.61 pts profit if backed to level stakes. Here are the results:
- Liverpool v Tottenham – Anytime Scorer – Harry Kane @ 23/10 – WON
- Southampton v West Ham – Under 2.5 Goals @ 10/11 – WON
- Stoke v Man City – Man City ‘0’ Card Handicap @ 7/5 – WON
Since we introduced our new Prem10 Picks section on 30th Jan, our selections have produced a 53% ROI. That’s an encouraging return after a poor run of results beforehand.
A note on your Prem10 service...
Finding the stats is one thing. Making money from them is another...
Having made a couple of tweaks to your Prem10 service recently, today gives the chance to refresh ourselves of the purpose and objectives of the service we provide. In short:
- We do all the groundwork for you, including going through the Head-2-Head stats on our site for every fixture, to produce the Stats You Need to Know before betting on any round of Premier League games
- We’re then looking to cash-in on the best value prices and markets on offer with our Prem10 Picks
Our weekly Stats You Need to Know list highlights many strong trends, but what we’re looking for with our Picks is the chance to bet on the trends where the market looks to have overlooked them and/ or the bookies look to have underestimated them. By this we mean – we’re looking for a price.
So, while we were duty-bound to report that Arsenal had won 5 Home games in a row in the Stats... section of your Tuesday preview email, the short price of 1/3 for the Arsenal win v Leicester was of no interest for us when it came to our Prem10 Picks.
In contrast, the odds-against 7/5 for Man City to receive the Most Cards at Stoke (now paid out in 5 City Away games in a row), or the 23/10 for Harry Kane to Score Anytime v Liverpool (now paid out in 7 out of 10 Spurs Away games) were two prices that stood out to us as good value.
The same goes for Under 2.5 Goals in the Southampton v West Ham game – odds of 10/11 suggested this was a 50-50 market but our stats suggested a much higher likelihood.
That’s what the service is all about. There will always be strong stats & trends in the Premier League. And we will always make sure you know what they are. But we will only be looking to bet on them when the price suits.
We’ll be on the lookout for more value prices – and winners – from the top stats & trends in the Premier League in our weekend preview email next Friday, 20th February.
FA Cup this weekend...
There’s no Premier League this weekend but the football comes thick and fast with the FA Cup 5th Round this week, and the start of the Champions League knockout stages next week.
There are three all-Premier ties in the FA Cup with West Brom v West Ham, Crystal Palace v Liverpool and Aston Villa v Leicester all live on TV. If you’re looking for a steer on the weekend betting then remember you can use the Head-2-Head tool on our site to match-up the league form for any two teams across our full range of stats categories and betting markets – Match Results, Goals, Corners, Cards & Bookings, Half Time form and Player stats: www.Prem10.co.uk
I’ll be back next Friday, 20th February with your next Prem10 email containing the Stats You Need to Know and our betting Picks.
P.S
Look out for an email over the weekend for your chance to get our Champions League stats and bet advice for next week’s games...
Best wishes,
