There are stacks of strong betting trends in the Premier League, but we don’t always get the chance to back them at decent odds or in the right market. Here are a couple that missed the cut this week...

• Newcastle v Sunderland – Over 3.5 Cards is an 86% v 71% match-up on the Head-2-Head stats on our site. But with this being a local derby, the bookies have set their line higher at 5.5 Cards. That bet has paid out in just 5 of the last 10 meetings, so we’re giving it a miss. See below for our Corners bet on this game

• Liverpool v Arsenal – Nothing makes the cut on our stats criteria for the weekend’s other ‘box office’ TV game. One to enjoy on Sky Sports on Sunday afternoon, but no bets for us
