Payet lands a 3/1 payout…

It was a good weekend for our Picks, mainly due to West Ham’s star man Dimitri Payet

Payet scored in the 2-2 draw at Norwich – he’s now got 4 goals in 10 Premier League Away games for the Hammers. At a standout 3/1 (4.00) in the Anytime Scorer market, Payet provided a welcome winner.

West Ham’s comeback from 2-0 down was enough to ‘void’ our other Pick on that game, the West Ham ‘Draw No Bet.’

  • Norwich have now conceded 2+ goals in each of their last 7 games

Liverpool crush Villa 6-0 – twice…

On Sunday our other weekend bet came in, courtesy of Liverpool in their crushing 6-0 win at Aston Villa. The Reds also won the Corner count by the 6-0 score, covering the -1 Corner Handicap with 4 corners to spare.

  • Liverpool -1 Corner Handicap bets have now paid out in 5 of their last 7 Away games

What the stats say after Week 26…

Elsewhere in the Premier League – these trends catch the eye from the weekend action – providing food for thought ahead of the upcoming games…

  • Man City 1 Tottenham 2 – Corners = 7-1 – Man City -3 Corner Handicap bets have now paid out in 4 of their last 5 Home games (paying out twice as often as the Home win)
  • Swansea 0 Southampton 1 – Southampton have now kept 6 Clean Sheets in a row since goalkeeper Fraser Forster returned from injury
  • Everton 0 West Brom 1 – Under 2.5 Goals bets have now paid out in 10 of West Brom’s 13 Away games (77%). All 4 of their Away wins have been by the 1-0 score-line
  • Arsenal 2 Leicester 1 – Corners = 11-1 – Over 10.5 Corners bets have now paid out in 10 of Arsenal’s 13 Home games (77%)
  • Chelsea 6 Newcastle 1 – Chelsea’s Diego Costa has landed Anytime Scorer bets in 7 of his last 10 games
