Weekend Picks - a 14/1 shot at the seaside...
Friday 15th April 2016
In your Prem10 – Weekend Picks email today:
- This week’s standout stats & prices...
- Go for goals by the seaside…
- 3/1 and 14/1 Anytime Scorer value…
This weekend the stats lead us to the south coast – with the markets for the Bournemouth v Liverpool game throwing up three appealing prices…
Having studied the prices and markets, here’s my opinion of the best betting value this weekend. Focusing our attention on just the one game this week…
Go for Goals by the seaside...
Bournemouth v Liverpool – Total Goals:
- Over 2.5 Goals bets have paid out in Bournemouth’s last 5 games
Recent form points to Goals here and at Even Money (2.00) this looks a solid weekend pick...
Bournemouth haven’t kept a Clean Sheet in 5 games with all of them going Over 2.5 Goals. While Over bets have paid out in 7 of Liverpool’s last 10 league games, too. Not to mention that 4-3 Europa League thriller last night…
Bournemouth Home games and Liverpool Away games are both averaging 3.0 Total Goals for the season, yet the bookies are erring on the side of a low-scoring encounter here with Under 2.5 Goals the slight favourite at 5/6 (1.83).
Liverpool have scored 2+ goals in each of their last 5 games v sides below them in the table, and while Bournemouth are a cut above Norwich (Liverpool scored 5) and Aston Villa (scored 6), the stats nevertheless point to an open game here...
Over 2.5 Goals is a best price Evens (2.00) with Betfred, Paddy Power, 888 Sport, Unibet. |
3/1 and 14/1 Scorer value…
Bournemouth v Liverpool – Anytime Scorer:
- Liverpool have kept just 2 Clean Sheets in their last 11 Premier League Away games
- Between them, Josh King and Steve Cook have accounted for 6 of Bournemouth’s last 10 goals
With goals expected in this game, two Bournemouth players standout at attractive prices in the Anytime Scorer market…
Forward Josh King has found the net in 3 of Bournemouth’s last 6 games, while defender Steve Cook is enjoying a purple patch himself – popping up with an impressive 3 goals in 6 games, too.
This game could have an end of season feel to it – Bournemouth are staying up, while Liverpool’s main focus will now be on the Europa League – and the goals stats suggest this could be an entertaining 90 minutes.
All things considered King and Cook look good value and it’s worth splitting a stake across both players at the prices on offer…
Anytime Scorer – Josh King is a best price 100/30 (4.33) with 888 Sport, Unibet, 3/1 (4.00) Betfred, Betway. Anytime Scorer – Steve Cook is a standout 14/1 (15.00) with Bet365, Betfred, BetVictor, Paddy Power. |
- Where to find these bets… In Wednesday’s Spotlight email (13th April) we looked at how hard it can be to locate some of the stats markets like Corners and Cards bets online. No such problems this week with Over 2.5 Goals and Anytime Scorer bets readily available with all the top bookies
Weekend Picks...

- Bournemouth v Liverpool – Anytime Scorer – Josh King @ 100/30 (4.33) with 888 Sport and Steve Cook @ 14/1 (15.00) with Bet365
