We were right to anticipate some crazy score-lines on the final day of the season, but my Over 3.5 Goals picks ended up targeting the wrong games...
The stats & prices led me to West Ham v Stoke (2-1) and Swansea v Man City (1-1). In each case, both teams got on the score-sheet – but the weekend’s highest-scoring encounters came elsewhere...
Tottenham 5 Newcastle 1 and Southampton 4 Crystal Palace 1 provided this year’s end-of-season goal-fests.
- No final day profits from my value Picks then, but encouraging signs for next season with 9 pts profit and a 25% ROI to level stakes since February, when I made the change to our weekly ‘Picks’ format
- Incidentally, the Cards & Booking Pts markets (19.5% ROI) and First/ Anytime Scorer markets (27% ROI) proved to be the most profitable betting areas for our Picks this season. Suggesting the bookies offered up a bit of value in those departments... and that we managed to find it
