In your Prem10 – Review email today:
- Tottenham top of the league...
- What the stats say after Week 22…
- Swansea v Watford tonight...
- Coming up this week...
Tottenham top of the league...
Tottenham’s 4-1 win over Sunderland has put them top of the official Premier League Form Table – with 4 wins from their last 6 games...
Next up for Tottenham is a trip to Crystal Palace on Saturday – Palace are bottom of the Last 6 Form grid with 3 defeats in a row, and are 5 games without a win.
Spurs are also top of our Most Corners table, which you can view on the new Prem10 League Stats pages on your Prem10 website. Tottenham have been racking up stacks of corners lately, 11-3 against Sunderland and before that a whopping 16-8 corners score at Home v Leicester.
- We’ve been shying away from backing Spurs on the Corner Handicap, but they made a mockery of the bookies’ -3 Corner Handicap on Saturday, winning 8 corners more than Sunderland. We’ll be looking for ways to profit from Tottenham’s corner dominance in the weeks ahead...
What the stats say after Week 22...
With the weekend’s numbers in hand, here are some more top trends that catch the eye today:
- Bournemouth 3 Norwich 0 – Total Cards = 2 Yellows... 9 out of 12 Norwich Away games (75%) have now been Under 3.5 Cards
- Aston Villa 1 Leicester 1... Each of Leicester’s last 5 Premier League games have been Under 2.5 Goals
- Man City 4 Crystal Palace 0... 10 of Man City’s 12 Home games have gone Over 2.5 Goals (83%)
- Tottenham 4 Sunderland 1 – Corners = 11-3... Tottenham have won the Most Corners in 83% of Home games and 77% of Premier League games overall
- Newcastle 2 West Ham 1... Georginio Wijnaldum is Newcastle’s top scorer with 9 goals – and all 9 have been scored in Home games. Wijnaldum got what turned out to be the winning goal on Saturday
Those are just a handful of the strong stats and streaks on show in the Premier League right now. Remember you can access Team Stats for all 20 teams and our new League Stats tables ranking teams across a variety of Goals, Corners and Cards markets – on our website.
Swansea v Watford tonight...
The last of our four weekend Picks runs this evening in the Monday Night Game on Sky Sports. Watford have won received the Most Cards/ Booking Points in 4 of their last 5 Away games, and Bet365’s 0 Card Handicap offers odds of 5/4 (2.25) for that pattern to continue at Swansea.
It was a case of close but not close enough with our other Picks – Jermain Defoe had Sunderland’s best chance to score at Tottenham but hit the side netting, while Jon Walters had a late header cleared off the line in Stoke’s 0-0 draw with Arsenal. Inches away from a 4/1 payout there...
Both Defoe and Walters were flagged up as Anytime Scorer value at 4/1 (5.00) in our Friday email – both men were significantly shorter in the betting elsewhere. We didn’t get the goals we needed this time but if we keep targeting the value prices, we will get our rewards.
Last but not least, Arsenal remain the cleanest side in the division – but Stoke failed to land the 0 Card Handicap (Most Cards) bet. Stoke recorded 16 Fouls to Arsenal’s 10, but Referee Craig Pawson opted to keep his cards in his pocket for the entire game.
Coming up this week...
I’ll be back on Wednesday with your next Spotlight feature – focusing on another little-known and profitable team, player or betting market in the Premier League...
Then on Friday we’ll once again be going in search of the very best value prices available about the week’s standout stats. The weekend fixture list includes West Ham v Man City and Arsenal v Chelsea live on TV...
Best wishes,

Oliver Upstone
