Leicester on track for the title...

A busy seven days of Premier League football ended with Tottenham drawing 1-1 with West Brom last night – a result that puts Leicester short odds-on at 1/20 (1.05) for the title...

If Leicester do it, Gary Linekar says it will be, “the most unlikely triumph in the history of team sport.” It’s hard to disagree. Leicester were 5,000/1 at the start of the season, and one of the favourites for the drop. Incredible stuff.

There are still three games to go though, and along the way we’ll be looking to round off the season with a few more winning value picks...

No scorers this time...

It wasn’t to be at the weekend, with both Alexis Sanchez (Sunderland 0 Arsenal 0) and Gylfi Sigurdsson (Leicester 4 Swansea 0) drawing blanks. Our Scorer picks have proved profitable for the season overall though, showing a respectable 33% ROI.

I’ll be on the lookout for more value this weekend and every week until the final games in May (after which, I’ll be turning my attention to EURO 2016 in France – register your interest in our dedicated EURO 2016 service by clicking here).

What the stats say after Week 35...

With upcoming games and potential bets in mind, here are a couple of the strongest stats on the Prem10 radar right now:

Goals galore...

  • Bournemouth 1 Chelsea 4 – Over 2.5 Goals bets have now paid out in 7 consecutive Bournemouth games, and in 7 of Chelsea’s last 9...

  • Man City 4 Stoke 0 – Over 2.5 Goals bets have now paid out in Stoke’s last 6 games, with the Potters conceding 12 in their last 3 games... losing 4-1, 4-0 and 4-0...

Coming up on Friday...

The end of season games often see a few crazy score-lines, and I’ll be using the latest form and Goals stats to zoom in on any opportunities for us.

Stoke, for example, are one to watch: safe in mid-table with their season’s work seemingly done, they’ve lost 3 in a row by heavy score-lines... this weekend Stoke take on Sunderland who are desperate for points at the bottom end of the table.

That game is already in my notes and as ever I’ll be looking across the Premier League for value opportunities for us, taking in anything from Goals and Scorers to Yellow Cards, Corner Kicks and Referee stats...

Lookout for your Weekend Picks and value analysis in your Prem10 email on Friday afternoon.

Until then,

Best wishes,

Oliver Upstone
