My weekend Picks made a small profit, with Exeter continuing their trend of not just winning, but winning well...
A 4-0 win over Crewe was Exeter’s 7th straight win in League Two – and 6 of those 7 wins have been by more than one goal.
That 4-0 result comfortably landed the -1 Match Handicap bet, which was available at odds of 17/10 (2.70) – which proved to be good value compared to just 8/13 (1.62) for the standard Home Win.
It would’ve been a really good weekend if League Two leaders Doncaster Rovers had managed to find one more goal...
Rovers’ 1-1 draw against Morecambe brought to an end their own 6-game winning run. And blocked off my Win & Both Teams to Score selection, which was available at 2/1 (3.00) compared to just 4/9 (1.44) for the Home Win.

It was a ‘three out of three’ weekend if you followed the other games that made Friday’s Top-Rated Match-Ups list, though (following on from three out of three successful midweek trends, too)...
- Chelsea 3 Arsenal 1 – Over 2.5 Goals bets have now paid out in each of Arsenal’s last 9 away games. And Chelsea’s home record for that bet is now up to 83% (10 payouts from 12 Premier League home games)
- Man City 2 Swansea 1 – A late winning goal for Man City kept up the strong Over 2.5 Goals trend here. Over 2.5 Goals has now paid out in each of Swansea’s last 12 league games – the best current winning streak in the land for that bet. Swansea & Man City remain 1st & 2nd respectively on our Premier League Over 2.5 Goals chart
- Huddersfield 2 Leeds 1 – Huddersfield continued their exceptional home Most Corners form here, winning the corner count 7-5, a result that also paid out on the -1 Corner Handicap for the 9th successive home game. Huddersfield are in 1st place on our Championship standings for Most Corners bets, with a 93% home record (14 out of 15 games)
