Saturday night’s Champions League Final turned out good for us...

Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice in Real Madrid’s 4-1 win over Juventus – landing our pre-season Pick on Ronaldo to be the tournament Top Scorer, at odds of 9/2 (5.50).

We went for Ronnie as a Win Only selection. The bookies pay out on four Each Way places and the top four ended up as:

Cristiano Ronaldo 12 goals
Lionel Messi 11 goals
Edison Cavani 8 goals
Robert Lewandowski 8 goals

This season was a big one for us with the introduction of the Championship, League One and League Two divisions to the unique betting stats on your Across the Leagues website. Along with the Premier League and Champions League, all under one roof.

Over the summer, the team and I will be hard at work on yet more new stats and improvements to your service. Including new features on your members-only website to help you identify more winning bets and trends than ever...

I’ll be in touch over the summer with a taste of what’s in store. Instead of studying the weekend fixture lists, I’ve got meetings lined up with web developers and designers... it’s all go here, even in the ‘off season.’ : )

The new 2017/18 season kicks off in the first weekend of August, but I’ll continue to write to you in June & July with stats updates and need-to-know info ahead of the big kick off...
