Welcome to your ATL Extra weekend email...

It’s FA Cup Quarter Final weekend, which means we have just the four Premier League games to look at. Liverpool v Burnley is the Super Sunday game on Sky Sports. See below for my Predictions.

There’s plenty of action lower down the leagues, with a stack of Championship, League One & League Two games on Saturday...

The Goal Machine...

I’ve been delving into the formbook and the unique betting stats on our Across the Leagues website with a particular eye on the Over 2.5 Goals opportunities this week.

There are a handful of teams on eye-catching runs and I thought I’d bring them to your attention today.

Should you be so inclined, the treble on all three featured games to go Over 2.5 Goals comes out at over 6/1 (7.00+).

Teams on prolific Over 2.5 Goals winning streaks right now include Swansea, Brentford and Northampton (see the ‘Top 10 Tables’ below for more).

Those three lead us to a game apiece from the Premier League, Championship and League One this Saturday...

Hull v Swansea – OVER 2.5 GOALS

  • The last 7 Swansea away games have all paid out on Over 2.5 Goals, as have 14 of their last 15 league games overall...
  • Swansea are ranked 1st in the Premier League for Over 2.5 Goals bets this season (78%)...
  • And while Hull’s overall record is hovering at just over 50%, a closer look at their match results shows that Over 2.5 Goals bets have actually paid out in 6 of their 8 encounters with fellow teams currently in the bottom 7 places in the Premier League. Going into this one Hull are second bottom in 19th and Swansea are fifth bottom in 16th...

Brentford v Huddersfield – OVER 2.5 GOALS

  • Brentford have provided 10 payouts for Over 2.5 Goals in their last 11 Championship games, including a 3-2 win at Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night...

AFC Wimbledon v Northampton – OVER 2.5 GOALS

  • In League One, Northampton are on a 12-game streak for Over 2.5 Goals...
  • The Cobblers have been blitzing all-comers with that bet, and considering their last 5 away score-lines have been 3-0, 2-2, 2-1, 5-3 and 5-0 (an average of 4.6 Goals per game in that period), we can expect some more fun & games as they visit AFC Wimbledon on Saturday afternoon....

MATCH PREDICTOR – Enter your predictions...

The Doctor Who bothering DALEK88 was the top scoring player in our Premier League Mini League last week, with a terrifyingly accurate 8 out of 10 correct Match Result predictions. I somehow managed to come 3rd.

At the top of the overall season table, last season’s winner CHRISSIE13 remains in 1st place. Can anyone stop her domination? Will her reign at the top be exterminated this weekend?

Let’s see who comes out top this week...

  • We’re offering a £100 prize to our Mini League winner at the end of the season
  • You’ll find the Mini League section by clicking on the Game Lobby button. Then scroll down to Mini Leagues and click ‘Join Existing’

Here are my Predictions for this weekend’s Premier League games. And as ever, in the interests of comparison, here’s what Paul Merson on Sky Sports and Mark Lawrenson on the BBC think, too...

Bournemouth v West Ham
Everton v West Brom
Hull v Swansea
Liverpool v Burnley

I’ll be back next week with more stats and predictions for you.

Until then, enjoy the football....

Best wishes,

Oliver Upstone
