An exciting weekend ahead…
Chelsea may be steamrollering everyone at the top of the Premier League, but the race for the Top Four and Champions League qualification spots is going to be a real battle…
Liverpool take on Tottenham this weekend (see below). While Arsenal are at home to a Hull side who have just beaten Liverpool and drawn with Man Utd. Both games are live on TV on Saturday.
The Top Four race looks sets to be one of the stories of the season from now on. And talking of the Champions League – that returns next week and we’ll be looking at the first round of Knockout games, starting from Tuesday.
Liverpool & Tottenham to draw again?
The Head-2-Head comparison on our site shows that Liverpool have drawn 2 of their last 5 home games, and Tottenham have drawn their last 2 away.
Spurs are the form team in the Premier League with 11 points from their last 15. But Liverpool are unbeaten in 7 games against current Top Six sides this season – including 1-1 draws with both Chelsea and Man Utd in their 2 most recent Top Six encounters.
Add to that the fact that the last 3 league meetings between Liverpool and Tottenham have all been draws (1-1, 1-1 and 0-0) and the case for another draw this weekend grows stronger.
