Welcome to your Across the Leagues Weekend Stats Review...

The festive fun & games begin...
It’s the most wonderful time of the year...
There are no fewer than five sets of games between now and 2nd January, across the leagues. The traditional Christmas, Boxing Day and New Year schedule gives us over 200 games to enjoy.
And with plenty of form in the book and on our site, the festive period is a great time to target some strong betting trends. Premier League teams have now played 15 games each. While in the Championship, League One and League Two we have form from 20 games each, and counting.
If Saturday’s games are anything to go by, we’re in for an entertaining Christmas...
It was a record-breaking afternoon in the Premier League, with 29 goals scored in 6 games – and all 6 going ‘Over 2.5 Goals.’ In fact, the 6 home teams took care of that themselves, all scoring 3+ goals each.
One of those was Leicester City, beating Man City 4-2 to land my weekend Pick on Over 2.5 Goals. That bet has now paid out in 7 Leicester games in a row in all comps. And puts them top of our Premier League chart for that market (see below).
- If the current average of 2.9 goals per game continues, we’ll be in for the highest scoring Premier League season ever
9 in a row for Watford, 11 out of 11 for Northampton...
The corners stats are also providing some very strong trends and reliable payouts...
For the second week running in my Picks, we successfully backed Under 10.5 Corners in a Watford game. There were just 6 corners in their 3-2 win over Everton.
Under 10.5 Corners has now paid out in 9 Watford games in a row, and they are our top-rated Premier League team for that bet, with an 87% overall record.
On the other side of the Under/ Over ‘Total Corners’ market, Northampton continue to be the standout team in League One...
There were a whopping 19 corners in the Cobblers’ 3-2 win at Port Vale. More than enough to land my Over 10.5 Corners Pick – a bet that has now paid out in 100% of Northampton’s away games (11 out of 11).
The only thing that stopped it being a full set of 4 out of 4 winning weekend Picks was Danny Rose’s 82nd minute yellow card for Tottenham in their 1-0 defeat at Old Trafford, scuppering the Man Utd ‘Most Cards’ bet (Cards = Man Utd 3 yellows, Tottenham 3 yellows).
- For the season overall, my Picks are showing a 13% ROI to level stakes
