WEEKEND STATS REVIEW

Welcome to your Weekend Stats Review email.

Every Monday we take a look at the latest stats and results – catching up on the performance of our picks, and drawing attention to particularly eye-catching teams, players or trends.

Seven in a row for Crawley...

It was a pleasing weekend for our picks with two out of two winners.

Crawley v Forest Green finished 1-1, with Under 2.5 Goals paying out at a best price 4/5 (1.80).

That was Crawley’s 7th successive Under 2.5 Goals result in League Two. They’re ranked 2nd in the division for that bet, including 7 out of 9 payouts at Home.

League Two - Under 2.5 Goals Table

Crawley had failed to score in 5 of their previous 6 games, but returning-from-injury striker Thomas Verheydt popped up with an equaliser for them for his first goal for the for club – putting an end to a Crawley goal drought that had lasted 512 minutes.

  • Forest Green are also on the radar for Under 2.5 Goals at the moment – that’s 8 payouts from their last 11 league games now

Our other weekend winner came in Sunday’s Sky Sports game in League One between AFC Wimbledon and Peterborough...

We followed the stats and went for Over 10 Corners at a best price 11/10 (2.10). There were a total of 11 corners in the game:

AFC Wimbledon v Peterborough - Sun 12th Nov 17

Over 10.5 Corners (and Over 10 Corners) bets have now paid out in Peterborough’s last 6 Away games – and in 9 of their last 11 league games overall.

The Posh are now joint-top of our League One standings for Over 10.5 Corners with a 75% record for the season.

  • AFC Wimbledon are also featuring in plenty of Over 10.5 Corners games lately – that’s 8 of their last 11 league games now, including 5 of their last 6 at Home

More top trends on our site today...

There were only games played in League One and League Two at the weekend. With the weekend stats & results up-to-date, here are some more of the top trends showing on our site today...

League One:

  • Blackpool 2 Portsmouth 3 – Both Teams to Score bets have paid out in 8 of Blackpool’s last 10 league games. They’re ranked 4th in our overall League One table for that bet (69% record)
  • Scunthorpe 1 Bristol Rovers 0 – that’s 3 wins in a row for Scunthorpe, who are now 5th in League One. All 3 recent wins have been by a 1-goal Winning Margin – and 6 of their 8 wins this season have paid out on that option in the ‘Margin of Victory’ market

League Two:

  • Coventry 0 Mansfield 1 – yet another Under 2.5 Goals game for Coventry... that’s 6 of their last 7 now, and 8 in a row at the Ricoh Stadium since the opening day of the season (89% Home strike-rate). Coventry are No.1 in League Two overall for Under 2.5 Goals with a 76% record. And the Sky Blues have failed to score in 5 of their last 6 games
  • Coventry 0 Mansfield 1 – Coventry are struggling to score, but they’re the 2nd-top team in League Two for Total Shots, and the No.1 team for winning the Most Corners... the corners score was 6-2 on Saturday, and Coventry have landed Most Corners and -1 Corner Handicap bets in 7 of their 9 Home games (78%)
  • Swindon 2 Chesterfield 2 – Kristian Dennis was on the score-sheet again here. His Chesterfield side are 4 pts adrift at the bottom of the league, but Dennis is now the joint-2nd Top Scorer in League Two with 9 goals, and our joint-top player in the division for Anytime Scorer payouts (9)
