Standout stats – including Chelsea v Arsenal...

We’ve seen plenty of ‘shock’ score-lines in the Match Result markets so far this season.

None more so than in the Premier League where several big-name short-price match favourites have failed to deliver:

Chelsea 2 Burnley 3, Stoke 1 Arsenal 0, Tottenham 1 Burnley 1 and last weekend’s Stoke 2 Man Utd all spring to mind.

Over on my full Across the Leagues service we like to use the stats to highlight alternatives to the Match Result favourites...

Three from the top...

On our website we have unique betting stats covering over 30 betting markets for over 100 teams in England and Scotland, including areas likes Goals, Corners, Cards & Bookings markets. Find out more here.

Here are three of the standout stats showing in our data right now – these teams are all in action again this weekend:

  • Chelsea v Arsenal is the big game on Sky Sports on Sunday lunchtime, and sees our two joint-1st placed Premier League teams for Over 2.5 Goals go battle at Stamford Bridge. Last season both fixtures went Over 2.5 Goals; so far in 2017/18 both Chelsea and Arsenal have produced 3 out of 4 payouts each in the league...
  • At the other end of the scoring spectrum, AFC Wimbledon are early-season leaders in the Under 2.5 Goals charts – with 7 payouts out of 7 in League One; most recently a 1-1 draw with Gillingham on Tuesday night. This Saturday they travel to Blackburn Rovers, who’ve kept 3 Clean Sheets in their last 4 games...
  • Also holding an early No.1 ranking in League One are Oldham, who have so far been involved in 7 out of 7 games paying out on Over 10.5 Corners. There were 13 Total Corners in their midweek 3-2 win at Bristol Rovers. This weekend Oldham are at Home to Shrewsbury – there were 13 corners in this fixture at the SportsDirect Park ground last season...

Under/ Over 2.5 Goals bets are widely available with the bookies. And a couple of bookies are offering Over 10.5 Corners options for that Oldham game – Bet365 and 10Bet.

Remember, you can get full access to stats covering over 30 betting markets for over 100 teams in England and Scotland here.
