Every Monday we take a look at the latest stats and results – catching up on the performance of our picks, and drawing attention to particularly eye-catching teams, players or trends.
8 out of 9 for Leeds...
We said that life is rarely boring at Leeds Utd. So it proved again on Saturday with a late flurry of goals giving Sheffield Wednesday a 2-1 win at Elland Road – and landing our Over 2.5 Goals pick at Evens+ (2.00+).
- Over 2.5 Goals has now paid out in 8 of Leeds’ last 9 games in the Championship, and in 5 of their last 6 at Home
That result keeps us ticking over. Our other weekend pick didn’t come in, with Huddersfield out-cornered 4-7 at Home v Crystal Palace. Despite being a goal or two behind for most of the game, the Terriers couldn’t continue their 80% Home ‘Most Corners’ strike-rate against non-Top 6 sides. Final score: Huddersfield 0 Palace 2.
Latest stats & streaks – 16 out of 17 for Bolton...
The data on our site highlights many other prolific and profitable trends. For example, after the weekend games:
- Bolton 1 Aston Villa 0 – Something of a surprise win for 19th place Bolton against 4th place Villa here, but the Total Goals was bang on the Bolton form – Under 2.5 Goals bets have now paid out in a remarkable 16 of their last 17 games in the Championship
- Bournemouth 2 West Brom 1 – Both Teams to Score has now paid out in 11 of Bournemouth’s last 12 Premier League games. West Brom have now lost 7 games in a row
- Motherwell 0 Celtic 0 – Motherwell are the form team for Under 2.5 Goals in the Scottish Premiership. They played with 10 men for 70-odd minutes but still managed to keep league leaders Celtic at bay. Under 2.5 Goals has paid out in 73% of Motherwell Home games, and in 8 of their last 9 overall
- Fulham 2 QPR 2 – Fulham’s 4-game winning streak came to an end with a draw here, but they kept up their impressive 95% Home record for Most Corners (8-2 corners score). The Cottagers have now landed Most Corners bet in an eye-catching 18 out of 19 Championship games at Craven Cottage
- Brentford 1 Middlesbrough 1 – Another strong Championship corner-winner here. Brentford are No.1 overall in the division for Most Corners. They bossed the corners 10-4 in this one, and have now landed that bet in 8 games in a row

Champions League quarter final line-up...
It’s the calm before the storm this week...
The International break means there are no Premier League or Championship games this coming weekend.
But next weekend we have the busy Easter schedule, with the traditional double-whammy of Football League fixtures on Good Friday and Easter Monday – as well as a full round of weekend Premier League games.
After that, we have the start of the Champions League quarter finals in the first week of April. There are some cracking ties in store:
- Juventus v Real Madrid
- Sevilla v Bayern Munich
- Barcelona v Roma
- Liverpool v Man City
We’ll be looking at all the stats, markets and bet opportunities for all of those games ready for when the 1st Legs kick off on Tues 3rd April.
So far this season our Champions League picks are showing a 22% ROI to level stakes. Last season we ended with 23% ROI and the year before 50% ROI. European football’s top club competition is one we like to pay plenty of attention to.
Our pre-season Top Scorer bet on Cristiano Ronaldo is looking good, too. We backed Ronnie at 4/1 (5.00) – he’s currently 4 goals clear, and has scored in all 8 games. Ronaldo is now just 1/10 (1.10) for the Champions League golden boot.
This week we have League One and League Two to concentrate on. I’ll be back with a look at some of the current top stats in those two divisions in your Spotlight email on Wednesday – before targeting the best of the weekend prices & opportunities with our Weekend Picks & Analysis on Friday.
P.S
Don't miss the next 80/1 shot...
This month is a big one in the tennis – and there are some BIG prices about, too...
Last week’s Indian Wells Masters saw 125/1 Naomi Osaka beat 80/1 Daria Kasatkina in the women’ final.
Kasatkina was our man Tom Wilson’s 80/1 Each Way pick in his Ones to Watch service.
The Miami Open starts tomorrow, and Tom will be going after the big prices again...
