WEEKEND STATS REVIEW

Welcome to your Weekend Stats Review email.

Every Monday we take a look at the latest stats and results – catching up on the performance of our picks, and drawing attention to particularly eye-catching teams, players or trends.

Late flourish for the Gunners...

We returned to winning ways at the weekend with two successful picks. Arsenal racked up a high-scoring win for departing manager Arsene Wenger, beating West Ham 4-1 at the Emirates to land the -1 Match Handicap...

The goals came late on for the Gunners on Sunday afternoon, with a flurry of 3 goals in the last eight minutes.

That result means 10 of Arsenal’s 14 Premier League Home wins this season have now been by more than one goal. With the scores in their last 6 Home victories: 4-1, 3-2, 3-0, 3-0, 5-1, 4-1.

It’s a different story for West Ham... 11 of their 15 defeats this season have been by more than one goal. With the scores in their last 4 Away losses being: 4-1, 4-1, 4-1 and 3-1.

Our other weekend pick was in League Two where Exeter and Crawley kept up their respective Both Teams to Score streaks with a 2-2 draw. That bet has now paid out in 7 Exeter games in a row and in 9 consecutive Crawley games.

Latest stats & streaks – Bees buzzing a 14-game streak...

The data on our site highlights many other prolific and profitable trends.

For example, after the weekend games:

  • Brentford 2 QPR 1 – Brentford won the Most Corners for the 14th game in a row. The Bees are the No.1 team in the Championship for that bet, with an 82% Home record. The corners score on Saturday was 11-4, meaning Brentford have now also covered the -1 Corner Handicap (winning 2+ corners more than opponents) in 11 of those 14 games
  • Arsenal 4 West Ham 1 – that Arsenal win keeps up their Over 2.5 Goals run, with 12 payouts from their last 13 Premier League games – and 7 in a row
  • Carlisle 1 Luton 1 – Under 2.5 Goals has now paid out in 6 consecutive Carlisle games, and in 9 of their last 10. They are ranked 2nd in League Two for the season for Under 2.5 Goals payouts

The Champions League semi finals kick off this week, with the 1st Legs being played on Tuesday & Wednesday:

We’ll be looking in detail at the stats & prices for every game. So far in the Knockout stage we’ve had 14 winners from 22 picks, for a 55% ROI.

I’ll be back tomorrow with your Picks & Analysis email for Liverpool v Roma. There are also 12 games taking place in the Football League on Tuesday night, so we’ll be keeping a lookout for opportunities in those, too.

See you tomorrow...
