Welcome to your Weekend Stats Review email.
Every Monday we take a look at the latest stats and results – catching up on the performance of our picks, and drawing attention to particularly eye-catching teams, players or trends.
All about the Corners...
The Corners stats have been a profitable area for us so far this season.
Specifically the Most Corners and Corner Handicap markets, where we’re using the stats to back a team to win/ dominate (with a ‘minus’ Handicap) the corner count in a match...
The most recent example of this came on Saturday, with the headline match from our Friday Picks & Analysis email providing the one payout from our two weekend selections.
Southampton won the Most Corners v West Brom, 8-3 – in the process covering the -1 Corner Handicap.
- The Saints have now landed -1 Corner Handicap bets in 5 out of 6 Premier League games at St Mary’s this season (83% Home record)
- Our Possession analysis helped point the way with that Corner Handicap pick, and the game panned out with the Possession stats almost bang-on with each team’s season averages on our site: Southampton had 66%, West Brom 34%. Final score: Southampton 1 West Brom 0
That was our 9th Most Corners or Corner Handicap winner of the season, from a total of 12 selections in those markets. Taken on their own, those picks have provided a 60.58% ROI to level stakes.
For the season overall, across all picks, we’re hovering just above break even.
Until the weekend, we’d had three out of three winning picks in the Both Teams to Score market. That figure took a knock with Saturday’s Doncaster 0 Walsall 3 result in League One. Our Both Teams to Score selections are showing a 32% ROI so far this season.
Top trends on our site today...
