Standout stats for the weekend...

We have another full set of Premier League, Football League and Scottish Premiership games on the schedule this weekend...

Here are three teams currently blazing a trail in the stats tables on our website.

This weekend’s standout stats are:

  • Burnley are the joint-top team in the Premier League for Under 2.5 Goals payouts, including 4 out of 4 at Home. With the scores at Turf Moor being 1-1, 0-0, 1-0 and 0-1. They face Newcastle who have played out 3 out of 4 Away games Under 2.5 Goals so far...
  • Fleetwood’s last 5 Home games in League One have gone Over 2.5 Goals, with score-lines of: 2-2, 1-3, 2-4, 3-2, 2-2. This weekend they host Oxford who have seen 3 of their last 4 Away games go Over 2.5 Goals...
  • Dundee and Hamilton are top teams in the Scottish Premiership for Both Teams to Score, with matching 73% overall records. Those two meet this weekend and the Home v Away stats are even stronger – Dundee 80% record v Hamilton 80% record...

Under/ Over 2.5 Goals and Both Teams to Score bets are widely available with the bookies.

Red Cards stats at Palace...

Man Utd v Tottenham is the big game live on Sky Sports, but Saturday afternoon’s all-London clash between Crystal Palace and West Ham could get the pulses racing, too...

There’s no love lost between these two and recent history illustrates that point:

  • 4 of the last 5 meetings between Palace and the Hammers have seen a Red Card

Each of the last 6 encounters have seen at least 4 Yellow Cards shown, too.

The Referee for this one is Robert Madley and he’s shown at least 4 Yellows in 7 of his 8 games in all competitions this season – as well as dishing out a total of 4 Red Cards.

Most bookies seem to be treating this one cautiously and not pricing up a ‘Red Card in the Match’ or ‘Sending Off’ market...

A few prices are available though with Skybet at 3/1 (4.00), William Hill at 10/3 (4.33), Bet365 at 4/1 (5.00) and Marathonbet the best of the bunch with standout odds of 23/5 (5.60).
