Getting ready for action – in the Premier League…
As promised, we’re getting our head in the stats ready for the new 2018/19 season.
While the newspapers, radio, TV shows and sports websites busy themselves with transfer gossip, press conferences – or Wayne Rooney breaking his nose for DC United – we’re hard at work behind the scenes, going about our business with our unique focus on football betting stats.
As I outlined last week, I have a clear picture of what your Across the Leagues service will deliver to you this coming season, week in week out – as soon as we have some new form in the book.
To give you a taste of the stats and a reminder of just how useful it is to have info like this at your fingertips on your members-only Across the Leagues website, here is a trio of profitable examples from last season’s Premier League stats:
- Arsenal – Home: ‘Time of First Goal – 27th Minute or Before’
Arsenal were the No.1 team in the Premier League for this bet last season, with the First Goal scored in the 27th Minute or Before in 15 of their 19 Home games (79%).
- Brighton – Away: ‘Under 3.5 Cards’
Brighton were the No.1 team in the Premier League for Under 3.5 Cards bets (76% overall record), and had the highest Away strike-rate for that bet with 16 payouts from 19 games (84%).
- Tottenham – Home: ‘Most Corners’
Tottenham won the 2nd-highest amount of Home corners in the Premier League, with a total of 143 corner kicks from 19 games – averaging 7.5 Corners For per Home game. Spurs landed the Most Corners bet in 14 of their 19 Home games (74%).
