Stats Update…

First things first – a quick word on our website. Sunday’s essential maintenance ran over a little. As such, the weekend stats aren’t displaying on there yet. But the technical people are on the case as I speak. Apologies for the brief delay there.

We’ll be back into the fully-updated stats tomorrow with a Midweek Stats Picks email. There are couple of handfuls of games across Tuesday & Wednesday evening in the Premier League and Football League. Along with a full 6-game programme in the Scottish Premiership.

Top trends…

I’ve still had my head in the stats this morning. Here’s a hat-trick of trends that have caught my eye after the weekend games:

  • Liverpool 2 Tottenham 1. Corners score = 10-3. Liverpool have now won 3+ corners more than opponents in each of their last 11 Premier League games. In other words, that’s 11 payouts in a row for Liverpool -2 Corner Handicap bets
  • Tranmere Rovers 3 Carlisle 0. Tranmere have now won 7 games in a row in League Two, and are well on course for to be in the Playoffs. Five of those 7 wins have been To Nil
  • Celtic 2 Rangers 1. A Red Card tipped the Most Cards tally to Rangers here. Celtic have now gone 16 out of 16 Home games in the Scottish Premiership this season without receiving the Most Cards or Booking Points

Latest results…

After a full set last time out, our latest Weekend Stats Picks gave just the one winner from three selections.

Form Team choice Aston Villa were the winners, beating Blackburn Rovers 2-1 for a 5th straight victory in the Championship. Villa are in the Playoff places. Blackburn have now lost 4 of their last 5.

From our 4-fold Goals Acca, just two of the four games ticked the box – so no 6/1+ payout for us this time. This new Goals Match-Ups feature looks set to provide us with some good opportunities to win at attractive prices as we move forward though, with a large set of stats, teams & games fitting the bill for our weekly Under/ Over 2.5 Goals and Both Teams to Score combinations.

After five out five successful Winning Streak picks, it turns out we went to the well once too often with Rochdale. Despite playing fellow top-ranked Over 10.5 Corners side Gillingham, their 1-1 draw ended with a total of 9 corners – and brought an end to Rochdale’s 8-game streak for that bet.

It’s the 1st April today. Since we started our new format Stats Picks emails on 1st March, we’re running just a shade above break-even. A modest start, but a couple of winning Goals Trebles or ‘full house’ days on the stats will get us looking in better shape. The technical hitch on the site has prevented our new Results page going up, but we’re on the job with that this week. I haven’t forgotten.

And on the hunt for winners, I’ll be back in your inbox tomorrow with your Midweek Stats Picks email – highlighting the very best match-ups and stats-market opportunities for the Tuesday & Wednesday games.

See you tomorrow…
