Getting ready for action – in the Championship…
So far this week our build up to the new season has featured the Premier League and Scottish Premiership.
Today’s it’s the turn of the Championship, which kicks off on Friday night.
As with all the divisions that we cover, our website is loaded up with the full & final Championship stats across all our bet categories for both the 2017/18 and 2016/17 seasons.
And once the first form starts going in the book for the new 2018/19 season, all the new figures will be automatically updated on our site too.
While all the media hype surrounds the mad scramble to win promotion to the Premier League, we’ll be keeping our heads in the Championship match stats all season long – be it Goals, Corners, Scorers, Cards & Bookings or Half Time totals.
As a reminder of how reliable these stats can be, here are three profitable trends from last season’s Championship numbers:
- Preston – Away: ‘Over 3.5 Cards’
Preston were our No.1 ranked Championship side for Over 3.5 Cards bets, with a 76% overall record – and a striking 87% Away record with 20 payouts from 23 road trips.
- Bolton – Away: ‘Under 2.5 Goals’
Bolton were the lowest Away scorers in the division last season with just 14 Goals For – an average of just 0.6 per game. Under 2.5 Goals bets paid out in 16 of their 23 Away games (70%).
- Millwall – Away: ‘Over 10.5 Corners’
Millwall were the top Away team for Over 10.5 Corners bets last season, with 17 of their 23 games seeing 11+ Total Corners (74%).
More on the way…
Those are just three examples from the 2017/18 Championship stats available on our website. We have stats for all 24 teams across over 30 betting markets, covering everything from Match Results and Scorers to Yellow Cards, Total Goals, Goal Times, Corners, Most Corners, Cards & Booking Points…
