The new season is here. The Football League starts this weekend with the Championship, League One and League Two all getting underway.
The first game of 2019/20 is tonight, with Luton v Middlesbrough in the Championship, live on Sky Sports.
The action also kicks off in Scotland. See below for our first Stats Pick of the season, for a game taking place in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday afternoon.

- Celtic have won the Most Corners in each of their last 14 home league games
Celtic were top of the table in more ways than one last season. The Bhoys were ranked No.1 in the Scottish Premiership on our site for Most Corners, bossing that category in 17 of their 19 home games (89%). No team in the division won more than Celtic’s 270 Total Corners during the 2018/19 season.
Celtic started last season by beating a -5 Corner Handicap in their first 3 home games and there is little to suggest we should expect anything other than business as usual from day one in 2019/20…
Opponents St Johnstone suffered 7-3, 9-2 and 12-3 corners defeats v Celtic in the league last season. That 9-2 result was at Celtic Park and was enough to reward -5 Corner Handicap backers.
Not many bookies are offering this market as I write. But the stats mark this out as our standout trend to follow on the opening weekend of the season…
