The summer is whizzing by and the new season is about to kick off…
Football League followers get to use their 2019/20 season tickets for the first time this weekend, with the action kicking off in the Championship, League One and League Two. The Scottish Premiership also starts this weekend.

We get a taste of the top-flight action this weekend with Man City v Liverpool in the Community Shield match at Wembley on Sunday (3pm, BT Sport).
The stats say…
Five of the last 6 meetings between these clubs have gone Over 2.5 Goals – although 4 of the last 6 Community Shield matches overall have gone Under 2.5.
What will the season’s curtain-raiser have in store – goals galore or a sleepy Sunday afternoon? With the attacking talent in both squads, we have to go for the ‘Over’ option…
Three new leagues…
As announced over the summer, we have THREE new leagues to look at this coming season, with unique betting stats being added to our members-only Across the Leagues website…
For the first time, we’ll be covering these three top European leagues – La Liga in Spain, Bundesliga in Germany and Serie A in Italy.
Those three new leagues run alongside all our English Premier League, Football League and Scottish Premiership stats. Plus – round-by-round coverage of the Champions League.
Here are some dates for your diary:

- Bundesliga starts Friday 16th August
- La Liga starts Saturday 17th August
- Serie A starts Sunday 25th August
