By the time Saturday comes it will have been two weeks since the last Premier League action.
Time for a quick reminder of some of the standout stats from the season so far…
Last week I gave a brief rundown of how to use your Across the Leagues members-only website. You can view that email here (and in the Email Archive on the site).
Today we’re taking a specific look at the Premier League.
To follow along with me, go to: www.AcrossTheLeagues.co.uk, log-in and click on PREMIER LEAGUE…
First of all you’ll be presented with the HEAD-2-HEAD comparison screen, displaying the first game of the weekend fixture list – Chelsea v Man Utd. You can move between the Head-2-Head tabs to see the Home v Away form across stats areas & markets including Goals, Corners, Cards & Booking Points and Players.
Clicking on the LEAGUE STATS heading on the yellow horizontal menu takes you to our Premier League tables. For me these tables are the beating heart of the Across the Leagues website. Allowing us to discover and track, at a glance, the top performing teams in any division across a range of key stats & markets…
For example, with 8 rounds of games played in the Premier League, the League Stats tables currently show:
- MATCH RESULTS – Liverpool have kept Clean Sheets in 4 out of 4 Home games; they are yet to concede a goal in the league at Anfield
- GOALS – as shown in the screenshot above, Wolves are in 1st place for Under 2.5 Goals payouts (7 games out of 8 = 88%)
- CORNERS – Man City have won the Most Corners in 100% of games (8 out of 8). Clicking on the more in-depth stats on the TEAM STATS page for Man City reveals that they’ve landed -1, -2 and -3 Corner Handicap bets in every game, too
- CARDS & BOOKINGS – Under 3.5 Cards bets have paid out in 88% of Fulham games, including all 4 of their Home games
- HT (HALF TIME) RESULTS – Liverpool are in 1st place for Half Time Results, going in ahead at the break in 6 of their 8 games (75%)
- SCORERS – Chelsea’s Eden Hazard is the Top Scorer with 7 goals. He’s landed more Anytime Scorer payouts than any other Premier League player so far, producing 5 winning bets from 8 games
- REFEREES – Craig Pawson is the leading ‘high cards’ Ref – 5 of his 6 matches have given Over 3.5 Cards payouts
A look across the top yellow menu bar to the TOTALS tab tells us that reigning champions Man Cty are once again dominating in a number of areas. Using the drop-down menus we can see that City are top for Goals Scored, Total Shots, Shots On Target, Possession and Corners won. Brighton have committed the Most Fouls so far, followed by Arsenal and Newcastle.

That’s just a taster of what’s at your disposal on the site. All the stats and tables are only ever a couple of clicks away. And remember as well as the Premier League, the site is also fully-stocked with stats for the Championship, League One, League Two and the Scottish Premiership.
