As we settle into October and the leaves start to fall, some very nice trends are appearing in the stats…
While yesterday’s 0-0 draw between title rivals Liverpool and Man City wasn’t the repeat of last season’s 4-3 goal-fest that many might have expected, City’s corners stats remain bang on form.
The tally was 6-2 to City, meaning they’ve now landed both Most Corners and -3 Corner Handicap bets in all 8 Premier League games – winning 4+ corners more than opponents in every game.
Add in the cup competitions – including a winning Champions League -3 Corner Handicap pick for us in Hoffenheim last week – and Man City have now landed that bet in 11 straight games in all comps.
The Premier League gave us two winning picks at the weekend…
Wolves continued their impressive start to life in the top flight with a 1-0 win at Crystal Palace. Palace have failed to score in each of their 4 Home games. Under 2.5 Goals bets have now paid out in 7 out of 8 Wolves games (88%), putting them top of our Premier League table for that market.
Leicester and Everton stay joint-top of the Both Teams to Score standings on our site (75%), with the score-line 2-1 to Everton on Saturday.
Our one missing pick was Both Teams to Score at Macclesfield, with Notts County grabbing a late 1-0 win for their third consecutive victory. Macclefield are rooted to the bottom of League Two and yet to win a game in any competition this season.
Those weekend results capped a good week for us, with a total of eight winners from nine picks from the midweek games through to the weekend.

After the weekend games, other eye-catching trends showing on our site today include:
- Premier League – Fulham 1 Arsenal 5 (Total Cards = 2) – Fulham are the No.1 team in the Premier League for Under 3.5 Cards bets. This was their 7th payout from 8 games (88%)
- Championship – Bristol City 1 Sheffield Wednesday 2 – Another Both Teams to Score game for Sheff Wed. That’s 9 in a row now, putting them joint-1st in the Championship for that bet (92%)
- Championship – Millwall 2 Aston Villa 1 – Villa sacked their manager last week but it was the same old story on Saturday, with Both Teams to Score paying out yet again. That’s 11 from 12 games now, matching Sheffield Wednesday’s 92% strike-rate
- League One – Peterborough 0 Barnsley 4 – A rare defeat for 2nd place Peterborough – just their 2nd of the season – but business as usual in terms of the Over 2.5 Goals payout. They’re ranked joint-top of our League One table for that bet, with an 83% record (10 from 12 games), along with Rochdale
- League One – Portsmouth 0 Gillingham 2 (Total Corners = 18) – Gillinghampulled off a surprise win at league leaders Pompey (the Away Win was 5/1). The Gills remain our top-ranked League One side for Over 10.5 Corners, now up to 10 payouts from 11 games (91%)
