The benefits of being big…
This weekend, five of the 10 Premier League fixtures are live on TV on either Sky Sports or BT Sport.
That’s a pleasing ratio for armchair fans and bettors alike, and one we can expect to see repeated for pretty much every round of top-flight games.
One of the good things about the Premier League is that it’s so big, the bookies give us literally hundreds of markets to bet on for every game.
When it comes to the top leagues and competitions, the bookies offer up a huge range of markets. Many of which cover the stats areas that we specialise in here at Across the Leagues – bets on Goals, Cards and Corners, for example.
At the World Cup this summer, we saw Marathonbet offering over 400 markets on each game. William Hill had over 200. And Bet365, Skybet, Paddy Power, Betfair Sportsbook and 888 Sport had well over 100.
We’ll be getting the same amount of options – if not more – to choose from for all the big TV games this season, regardless of the division.
And in the Premier League and Champions League, every game will be given a high level of coverage by the bookies, with a mountain of markets at our feet.

On Wednesday afternoon I was pleasantly surprised to see some of the bookies had already gone up with their weekend stats markets…
As I write this morning, the likes of William Hill, Bet365, Paddy Power, Betfair Sportsbook and Skybet have all got a wide range of weekend Premier League markets up already. Including some of the niche areas we focus on, such as Most Corners, Corner Handicap and Total Cards/ Booking Points. Good stuff. View more of our recommended ‘stats bets’ bookies here.
This list is by no means exhaustive. Firms like Betway, BetVictor, Boylesports, Ladbrokes, Coral, 888 Sport, Unibet, NetBet, 10Bet, Marathonbet and more besides all offer a strong selection of stats markets on Premier League, Champions League and TV games.
