Waiting on the Germans...
I was hoping to bring good news regarding the return of the Bundesliga. But government discussions in Germany have been pushed back to Wednesday next week (6th May), when the sporting situation will be made more clear.
We could still be on for a May return date for the Bundesliga, which would be great. A tentative start date of 16th May is being talked about.
The Premier League clubs are meeting by conference call today. Although again, it’s next week’s big meeting that is expected to shed more light on ‘Project Restart’ - pending government guidance and permission, of course.
It’s all ifs, buts & maybes in terms of English football in particular. A date being worked around for the Premier League is 8th June. But again, that is only in the faintest of pencil as it stands.
We’ll be ready...
One thing that is much more concrete though, is the fact that your Across the Leagues website is bang up-to-date with the latest info.
We’ll be ready & waiting for when the Bundesliga, Premier League and any of our other featured divisions do indeed return to complete the current 2019/20 season.
Bet-specific stats categories on your members-only site include:
Match Results, Win To Nil, Clean Sheets… Total Goals - Under/ Over, Both Teams to Score, Goal Times… Total Cards - Under/ Over and Most Bookings stats… Premier League Corners stats... Half Time markets… and First & Anytime Scorers, Carded players… as well as Referee tables.
Our site gathers all this information together for you in one easy-to-use website:

Hidden gems…
And remember, the stats contain nuggets of gold that many bettors will miss out on completely…
For example, in our Scorer stats for the Bundesliga:
Familiar Bundesliga and Champions League names Robert Lewandowski (Bayern Munich), Jadon Sancho (Borussia Dortmund) and Timo Werner (RB Leipzig) occupy the top 3 places on the official Bundesliga Top Scorer table this season…
But a player like Florian Niederlechner of 14th place FC Augsburg will be unheard of to many bettors...
With 11 league goals to his name, and more importantly for our purposes, 10 Anytime Scorer payouts this season, Niederlechner is only bettered in our Anytime Scorer stats by that big three mentioned above.
And most weekends in the Bundesliga, you’re going to get bigger odds on the Augsburg man than on the likes of Lewandowski, Sancho and Werner.
This is seriously useful betting info, that’s available to you at the touch of a screen or the click of a button as an Across the Leagues member. And that’s just one example from the hundreds of stats available on our site.
Here’s the top of our Anytime Scorer table for the Bundesliga:

Between now and the possible May & June return dates, I’ll be getting you up to speed for the return of the Bundesliga and English football, with Across the Leagues email updates highlighting the top trends for the season so far - and ones to look out for when the teams get back on the pitch.
P.S
A + B = D...
I’ll leave you with a simple equation today. Everyone’s on lockdown. We can’t go out as much as we’d like…
Not going out = less time in sunlight.
Less sunlight = less Vitamin D.
I know a health writer called Ray Collins, and he’s got lots of interesting points on the subject. Now more than ever, we all need to make sure we’re getting a healthy amount of Vitamin D. Ray shines more light on the matter here.
Best wishes,

Shaun Humphris
