Werder Bremen v Eintracht Frankfurt tonight…

We were looking at the right men for Koln and RB Leipzig on Monday night. Our First Goalscorer pick Patrik Schick had to make do with the second goal of the game, though (20 mins). Koln striker John Cordoba – who has featured in our write-ups regularly since the restart in Germany – had opened the scoring after 7 mins, before going off injured.

Tonight’s there’s a big one near the bottom of the Bundesliga table, with Werder Bremen looking to get out of the relegation zone after back-to-back 1-0 wins away from home. While Frankfurt, with one win from 7 games, are looking to avoid slipping towards the bottom three…

STATS PICKS & ANALYSIS

Werder Bremen v Eintracht Frankfurt

Germany – Bundesliga
7.30pm, BT Sport

Once again the Scorer stats and markets get our attention today…

This match-up is an interesting one, with Bremen failing to find the net in 7 of their last 8 home games. And their last 3 results overall reading 0-1 (a), 0-0 (h) and 0-1 (a).

In contrast, Frankfurt are on an 8-game streak for Over 2.5 Goals results (4 out of 4 since play resumed), and have scored a total of 8 goals in their last 4 games.

Bremen’s hero in their two recent 1-0 away wins has been Leonardo Bittencourt. He went off injured in their victory at Schalke last weekend though, so that does put a bit of a question mark by him today. The same goes for Bremen’s top scorer for the season, Milot Rashica.

With that in mind, and given Frankfurt’s superior goal-scoring form, two men stand out for the visitors here…

Andre Silva has got 3 goals in 4 games since the Bundesliga returned last month. Overall, the 24-year-old Portuguese forward, who is on loan from AC Milan, has landed Anytime Scorer bets in 5 of his last 8 appearances for Frankfurt in all competitions. That includes two First Goalscorer payouts, both of which came courtesy of penalty kicks.

Silva is around 8/5 (2.60) to score Anytime tonight. The first-goal option appeals more at 5/1+ (6.00+).

Japanese midfielder Daichi Kamada has also looked lively in recent outings. The 23-year-old has found the net in Frankfurt’s last 2 games. And in his last 10 appearances in all comps, Kamada has landed Anytime Scorer bets 6 times.

Considering he’s available at odds of 3/1+ (4.00+) in the Anytime market today, that strike-rate marks Kamada out as well worth following to find the net at some point in this game. Each of his last 3 goals have come in the second half.
