The green light in Germany...
Good news has been hard to come by in the last couple of months. This afternoon’s ‘breaking news’ from Germany, then, is very welcome…
The German government has confirmed that the Bundesliga can return this month.
That official green light from the powers that be means we can now look forward to some top-flight football resuming in May.
We’ll have action this month...
The exact Bundesliga kick off date is still to be sorted, but it’s looking like Friday 15th or Friday 22nd May.
That’s great news after a truly baron spell for professional football.
It won’t be life as we know it, of course. Bundesliga games will need to be played behind closed doors, with no fans in the stadiums. And a firm set of health procedures will need to be adhered to.
But the fact that one of Europe’s top leagues is set to resume and complete the 2019/20 season is something to put a smile on our faces today.
Stepping up our preparations...
As I’ve outlined in your last couple of emails, we have all the up-to-date Bundesliga stats ready & waiting on your members-only Across the Leagues website.
And with the Germans the first of our featured leagues to make it back into action, we’ll be providing dedicated coverage, including Head-2-Head stats comparisons and bet guides for the weekly Bundesliga games.
Before the halt in play, Goals Goals Goals was the big theme in the Bundesliga. For example, Bayern Munich and Mainz have eye-popping 92% away records for Over 2.5 Goals bets this season...
With 9 rounds of fixtures to get played, that’s a total of 81 matches for us to look forward to. With live TV coverage and stacks of betting markets, too.
The title race...
And let’s not forget, there’s a proper title race going on in Germany this season…
Just 5 points separate the top 3 sides as it stands. And from Bayern Munich in 1st place on 55 pts down to Bayer Leverkusen in 5th on 47 pts, there really is all to play for in the battle to be crowned Bundesliga champions.
That competitiveness means the Match Result form will be worthy of our attention...
Along with other bet-specific stats categories on your members-only site, including:
Win To Nil, Clean Sheets… Total Goals - Under/ Over, Both Teams to Score, Goal Times… Total Cards - Under/ Over and Most Bookings stats… Half Time markets… and First & Anytime Scorers, Carded players… as well as Referee tables.
Our site gathers all this information together for you in one easy-to-use website:

The Bundesliga is coming back - and it’s coming back this month. I can’t wait to get started.
I’ll be back next week with more German stats for you, as we build up to the big May kick-off.
Best wishes,

Shaun Humphris
