Need-to-know info for Sky Sports & BT Sport...

While a few desperate bookies and bettors are piling into the Belarus and Tajikistan leagues, our approach is to keep our heads, and stick to what we know.

The coronavirus situation is bad. There’s no getting around that. In terms of the football we know & love coming back, however, there have been a few hopeful signs in the last couple of days…

Looking ahead...

Of course, no-one can put a solid date on the return to action yet. The virus doesn’t work to deadlines or calendars. But there has at least been the welcome sight of professional footballers kicking the ball this week, with clubs in the German Bundesliga returning to training, albeit with some social distancing measures in place.

And today’s news that the English Football League (EFL) are hatching a plan to finish the remaining rounds of games in the current season in a ‘56-day’ period gives hope that, if the national health situation allows for it, we could see the 2019/20 season extended into June & July…

If that was to happen, we’d have plenty of reason to look forward to a summer of football. Before moving swiftly on to the 2020/21 campaign, too.

The only real proviso the EFL have got right now though is that training should not resume until at least 16th May. We just have to wait and see. I’ll keep you posted.

Never mind betting blind on the obscure leagues in Belarus and Tajikistan. The best football ‘tip’ you could follow right now is to make sure you take advantage of the options available to you with Sky Sports and BT Sport

BT were slow to get onboard with this. But as it now stands, both Sky & BT will let you ‘pause’ your monthly subscriptions for their sports packages. With normal billing resuming when the top-level football comes back.

Useful links for you...

Sky Sports and BT Sport make you go to them in order to pause your payments. They don’t do it for you. I’ve included a few useful links for doing this below.

Whoever your provider is, their website should have a coronavirus COVID-19 information page with all the details and instructions you need.

If you’re with Sky >>

If your package is through BT >>

Or if you get your sports through Virgin Media >>

Hopefully that’ll come in useful to you.

I’ll be back on Saturday with an interesting winning opportunity for you...

Best wishes,

Shaun Humphris
