Weekend Stats Picks…

The International break is over and domestic league football returns across Europe this weekend.

That includes the Premier League where we have two Stats Picks, as well as the Bundesliga where the German goals figures continue to catch the eye...

Here are this weekend’s Stats Picks:

FEATURED GAME

Norwich v Man City – First Goal – Up To And Including 15th Minute

Premier League, Sat 5.30pm – Sky Sports

These two have been goals-galore so far. Man City have scored 14 goals in their first 4 games – an average of 3.5 per game. Norwich’s opening brace of home games has seen 3-1 and 2-3 score-lines. Over 2.5 Goals is short odds-on at 1/4 (1.25). The higher Over 3.5 Goals line is 8/13 (1.62). The Goal Time stats provide a decent alternative here:

  • Two of Norwich’s 4 games have seen goals in the 6th and 7th min. Man City’s last 2 games have had First Goal Times of 2 mins and 15 mins

Stats Pick: Time of First Goal – ‘Up To And Including 15th minute’ @ 7/5 (2.40) with William Hill. First Goal Time: 1-15 Min @ 63/50 (2.26) Marathonbet, 6/5 (2.20) Betway.

  • Other ‘First Goal Time’ brackets and Under/ Over options available with Bet365, Boylesports, Paddy Power, Betfair Sportsbook, Skybet

TOP TRENDS

Wolves v Chelsea – UNDER 10.5 Corners

Premier League, Sat 3pm

  • Chelsea were No.1 in the Premier League for Under 10.5 Corners payouts last season, including a 79% away record (15 out of 19 games)
  • So far in 2019/20, Chelsea have a 100% record with 4 out of 4 games going Under 10.5 Corners
  • Wolves’ home games have seen Total Corners scores of 7 and 10. Last season’s game v Chelsea had 6 corners

Stats Pick: Under 10.5 Corners @ 4/6 (1.67).

GOALS MATCH-UPS

Stoke v Bristol City – OVER 2.5 Goals

Championship, Sat 3pm

  • Stoke are the only team in the division with a 100% record for Over 2.5 Goals. All 6 of their games have seen 3+ Total Goals
  • 4 of Bristol City’s 6 games have gone Over 2.5 Goals, including their last 3 in a row

Stats Pick: Over 2.5 Goals @ Evens+ (2.00+).

German Bundesliga – OVER 2.5 Goals

Three weeks into the German season and the Bundesliga is looking good for another year of ‘high goals’ stats. We looked at this trend last time out and 7 of the 9 games in Round 3 went Over 2.5 Goals. These two games look set for goals this weekend:

  • Borussia Dortmund v Bayer Leverkusen (Sat 2.30pm) – Dortmund have started the season with score-lines of 5-1, 1-3 and 3-1. Leverkusen have had a 3-2 and a 1-3. Last season this fixture produced 3-2 and 2-4 results. Over 2.5 Goals is 4/9 (1.44) in general
  • RB Leipzig v Bayern Munich (Sat 5.30pm) – This is 1st v 2nd in the early-season Bundesliga table. Leipzig are 100% for Over 2.5 Goals so far. And Bayern are 3 out of 3, too. Over 2.5 Goals is 4/9 (1.44) in general

Stats Pick: Over 2.5 Goals – DOUBLE @ Evens+ (2.00+).

Stats Picks Summary

In summary, this weekend’s Stats Picks are:

  • Norwich v Man City – Time of First Goal – ‘Up To And Including 15th minute’ @ 7/5 (2.40) with William Hill. First Goal Time: 1-15 Min @ 63/50 (2.26) Marathonbet, 6/5 (2.20) Betway
