Top Trends…
We were close to a 3/1 treble on our Anytime Scorers at the weekend.
Eoin Doyle scored for Swindon and Timo Werner got on the score-sheet for RB Leipzig. But Jamie Vardy just missed out. Vardy was originally awarded Leicester’s goal v Norwich, but it ended up going down as an Own Goal from the goalkeeper.
- Doyle has now scored in a remarkable 9 successive league games for Swindon. He’s 9 goals clear at the top of the League Two Top Scorer chart
- In the German Bundesliga, Werner has found the net in 6 games in a row for RB Leipzig
Elsewhere in our Stats Picks, Sheff Utd kept up their superb home corner-winning form, but the 3-2 corners score in their 2-0 win over Aston Villa wasn’t enough to land our nominated -3 Corner Handicap selection.
- Sheff Utd’s home record for Most Corners bets is now 89% (8 out of 9 games)
On the Match Results front, two form teams landed home wins. Swindon beat Oldham, 2-0. And Preston beat Luton, 2-1.
- Swindon have now won 7 games in a row in League Two. The league leaders have won the last 3 without conceding a single goal
- Preston are up to 3rd in the Championship. Their home form is the key. North End have now won 9 of their 12 league games at Deepdale this season (W9 D2 L1)
Other standout stats showing on our website after the weekend games include:
MATCH RESULTS
- Celtic beat Hibernian 2-0 and the champions have now recorded 8 consecutive victories in the Scottish Premiership
- Liverpool beat Watford 2-0 and the Premier League leaders have now won 8 in a row. After 13 games in all competitions without a Clean Sheet, the Reds have now kept 3 in a row
- RB Leipzig’s 3-0 win at Fortuna Dusseldorf took them top of the Bundesliga. The Red Bull club have won 6 league games on the trot, scoring at least 3 goals in all of them
GOALS
- Atletico Madrid beat Osasuna, 2-0, giving an Under 2.5 Goals payout for the 13th time in their last 14 games in the Spanish La Liga
- Lincoln City beat Tranmere Rovers, 1-0, producing an Under 2.5 Goals result for the 8th straight game in League One
- Bayern Munich are 5th in the Bundesliga but they’re in 1st place for Over 2.5 Goals (93%). They have a 100% record at home. And Saturday’s 6-1 victory v Werder Bremen was Bayern’s 11th consecutive Over 2.5 Goals game in the league
- In the Championship, relegation-threatened Luton Town are the No.1 side for Over 2.5 Goals bets. A 2-1 defeat at Preston takes Luton’s season strike-rate in that market up to 86% (19 out of 22 games) – and 11 in a row

See you tomorrow…
The December fixtures come thick & fast. There’s a full midweek programme in the Bundesliga and I’ll be in touch on Tuesday with Stats Picks for that, as well as looking at the three midweek games taking place in Serie A and La Liga.
Then at the weekend, the Christmas fun starts to kick in with a big schedule of games…
Best wishes,

Shaun Humphris
