Stats Picks…
The Bundesliga returns from its winter break this weekend.
The German top-flight has been a great source of Over 2.5 Goals results for some time now. This season, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund lead the way for that stat, with matching 88% records.
But with this round of games the first since the weekend of 20th December, it could pay to wait for the form to click back into gear with week-by-week action.
Over the last three seasons, the ‘first weekend after the winter break’ has seen just 51% of games go Over 2.5 Goals. There will be better weeks ahead to target the Total Goals stats in Germany.
This weekend we’re concentrating on England, with four Both Teams to Score match-ups – one from each division from the Premier League down to League Two.
Here are our Stats Picks…
GOALS
Southampton v Wolves – Both Teams to Score
Premier League
Sat 3pm
On the Head-2-Head on our website, this match is a 73% Home record v 73% away for goal at both ends.
Wolves are No.1 on our Premier League table for Both Teams to Score, with a 77% record for the season overall. They have just one Clean Sheet from their last 14 games.
Southampton have 2 Clean Sheets from their last 17 in the league. While up front, the Saints have Danny Ings who has found the net in 9 of his last 11 appearances.

West Brom v Stoke – Both Teams to Score
Championship
Mon 8pm – Sky Sports
West Brom are a standout side for Both Teams to Score, with a very high 92% home strike-rate for this bet.
That home record is made up of 12 out of 13 league games at The Hawthorns, where the Baggies are still yet to keep a Clean Sheet this season.
Stoke have managed just one Clean Sheet in their 13 away games. They’ve found the net in 3 of their 4 away trips since the start of December.
- Both Teams to Score @ 4/5 (1.80) with Bet365, Marathonbet, 8/11+ (1.73+) in general

AFC Wimbledon v Peterborough – Both Teams to Score
League One
Sat 3pm
AFC Wimbledon are in 1st place for this bet in League One. With goals at both ends in 75% of home games. And in 6 of their last 7 overall.
Peterborough have conceded 13 goals in their last 6 away games. In attack, ‘Boro have two of the division’s top four scorers, Ivan Toney (15 goals) and Mohamed Eisa (13).
In the reverse fixture in September, Both Teams to Score was a comfortable outcome with Peterborough winning 3-2.
- Both Teams to Score @ 4/6 (1.67) with Bet365, William Hill, 3/5 (1.60) in general
Walsall v Crawley – Both Teams to Score
League Two
Sat 3pm
This one also finished 3-2 last time out, with Walsall taking all three points at Crawley in September.
Crawley are top-ranked in League Two for Both Teams to Score, with their standout stat a 92% away record consisting of 12 payouts from 13 road trips. Their last 4 games have ended 1-1, 1-1, 1-1 and 2-1.
Three of Walsall’s last 4 games have seen goals at both ends. But it’s Crawley’s strong numbers that really make this bet.
- Both Teams to Score @ 4/5 (1.80) with Sportingbet, 8/11 (1.73) with Bet365 and in general
