Bundesliga Predictions - and a 50/1 acca...

Friday 29th May 2020

In your Across the Leagues EXTRA email today:

  • Bundesliga Predictions…
  • Weekend Acca at 50/1…
  • Correct Scores – including a 2-2 for tonight…

Big football news yesterday with the announcement that the Premier League is due to return on 17th June…

Sky Sports & the BBC will be showing some of the games free-to-air, too. And between Sky, BBC, BT Sport and Amazon, all 92 remaining Premier League fixtures will be available to view live on our screens.

In Germany, the Bundesliga continues this weekend. Here are some stats, observations and pointers to assist with your weekend betting…

Worth knowing…

Loss of home advantage…

The Bundesliga form ‘behind closed doors’ says to choose wisely with Home Wins right now:

  • Since the league returned from lockdown, there have been just 5 home victories from 27 games played (18.5%)
  • That’s down from a 43.3% Home Win average for the season-to-date before the coronavirus crisis halted play

Looking to get back in the goals…

These two players are top scorers for their respective Bundesliga clubs this season, but both are on a goalless run at the moment. Could they end the drought this weekend?

  • Robin Quaison (Mainz) – 12 league goals, but none in his last 4 appearances. Quaison hasn’t gone 5 games without scoring all season…
  • Milot Rashica (Werder Bremen) – 7 Bundesliga goals, but he’s now 7 games without finding the net. In his Bremen career to date, Rashica hasn’t gone this long without scoring…

Big Handicap for Bayern…

Bayern Munich have won the Most Corners in all 18 of their home games this season, including 14 out of 14 in the league. The problem is, Bayern are as short as 1/50 (1.02) to keep up their 100% record for that bet this weekend. Here’s one solution:

  • In 15 of those 18 home games, Bayern have landed the -5 Corner Handicap (winning 6+ corners more than opponents). Against Dusseldorf this weekend, that -5 Corner Handicap option is Evens (2.00) with Skybet
