In Across the Leagues today:
Don’t ask me how Romelu Lukaku didn’t score last night…
We were denied a hat-trick of winning selections on Monday evening. With Lukaku having a stack of chances to score, including one ruled out for offside by VAR, a couple of misses, and a good save from the Cagliari goalie.
Of course, Sod’s Law, the other Roma forward I mentioned, penalty-taker Paulo Dybala, helped himself to two goals (one pen).
Roma won the game with ease, 4-0. That’s 3 wins out of 3 since they sacked Jose Mourinho.
Man City came from behind to win 3-1 at Brentford, racking up a hefty corners score of 13-8, to cover the -3 Corner Handicap. As well as landing our match-win double on Roma & City at Even Money.
We won’t be booking any five-star holidays after last night’s pair of Even Money winners, but nevertheless it was good to stick a few green W’s in the bet column.
For much bigger odds tonight, I’ve got three more Win & Both Teams to Score selections for you in the English Football League…
I’ve been following the form and numbers for these stats and markets for some time now. And with February seeing us right in the thick of the season, we should continue to follow teams with proven 2023/24 track records in the Match Result/ BTTS departments…
Our weekend attempt saw all 3 games tick the box for Both Teams to Score, but no Match Result glory to add to goalmouth action this time. Here are my three ‘entertainer’ selections for this evening…
BRISTOL ROVERS v Fleetwood
League One, 7.45pm
Exeter v PETERBOROUGH
League One, 7.45pm
Walsall v MORECAMBE
League Two, 7.45pm
Both Teams to Score in all 3 games pays 4/1…
The Win & Both Teams to Score treble on Bristol Rovers, Peterborough & Morecambe pays a standout 100/1…
We’ll take the 4/1 treble. And also cover the big prices with a Trixie for Win & BTTS (splitting a stake 4 ways: 3 doubles and the 100/1 treble).
