Games called off…

With half of the weekend Premier League fixtures already called off due to coronavirus, and doubts hanging over some of the other five games, too. We’ve decided not to run the Predictor for this weekend.

But the good news is, when the next full round of action takes place, we’ll be rolling over the weekly prize.

And while things are a little uncertain right now, the latest from the Premier League is that the upcoming Christmas & New Year’s schedule is set to continue…

Along with the usual domestic programmes in the top European leagues, and of course the ever-busy English Football League campaign. That still means lots of top-notch football for us this weekend, and in the days and weeks to come.

10 standout stats for the Premier League – and beyond…

Here are a few useful betting pointers for you, featuring teams still scheduled to play this weekend. These all come from the unique, members-only stats on our Across the Leagues service – where we cover 17 leagues, and over 300 teams…

PREMIER LEAGUE:

• Wolves are ranked no.1 for UNDER 2.5 GOALS bets this season, with 14 payouts from 17 games (82%)

• Leeds are in 1st place for OVER 3.5 CARDS payouts, with a 76% strike-rate. Leeds have received a total of 46 Yellow Cards – more than any other team

CHAMPIONSHIP:

• Huddersfield have the best away record for UNDER 10.5 CORNERS. With bets paying out in 10 out of 11 away games (91%)

LEAGUE ONE:

• Fleetwood are ranked no.1 for BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE. With goals at both ends in 90% of their away games, including each of their last 8 on the road

LEAGUE TWO:

• Forest Green have produced more Win & Both Teams to Score payouts than any other team in the division (7)  

GERMANY – BUNDESLIGA:

• Borussia Monchengladbach are the top team for UNDER 10.5 CORNERS bets. With 88% of their league games paying out (14 out of 16 winning bets)  

ITALY – SERIE A:

• Fiorentina have a 100% home record for OVER 2.5 GOALS (8 games out of 8)

• Sassuolo have a 100% away strike-rate for OVER 2.5 GOALS

Those teams play each other on Sunday – Fiorentina v Sassuolo.

SPAIN – LA LIGA:

• Real Sociedad are ranked no.1 for UNDER 2.5 GOALS bets, with a 100% home record (8 games out of 8) 

• Villarreal have a 75% away strike-rate for UNDER 2.5 GOALS

Those teams play each other on Saturday – Real Sociedad v Villarreal.
