In Across the Leagues EXTRA today:
Eight down, one to go…
It was a good weekend for the eight settled legs from our Weekend Acca. We go into tonight’s Monday Night Football on Sky Sports with a big ticket on the line…
Aston Villa v Everton - Both Teams to Score: Yes - WON (2-1)
Arsenal v Leicester - Arsenal to win - WON (4-2)
Brighton v Newcastle – Draw - WON (0-0)
Man City v Bournemouth – Man City to win - WON (4-0)
Southampton v Leeds – Over 2.5 Goals - WON (2-2)
Wolves v Fulham – Under 2.5 Goals - WON (0-0)
Brentford v Man Utd – Over 2.5 Goals - WON (4-0)
Chelsea v Tottenham – Both Teams to Score: Yes - WON (2-2)
Liverpool v Crystal Palace – Liverpool to win - Tonight, 8pm…
The nine-fold acca featured in Friday’s email at 119/1. If you’re on at a big price, then you’re just one game away from a massive jackpot win…
Liverpool to beat Crystal Palace is the outcome we’re looking for tonight. The game is live on Sky Sports (kick-off 8pm).
Are you on the acca? If so, you might be offered a ‘Cashout’ amount by your bookie, depending on who you bet with.
Another way to guarantee a profit is to back the two other possible outcomes in tonight’s game: the draw, and Crystal Palace to win. The simplest way to do that is to take the ‘Double Chance: Draw or Crystal Palace’ route. That bet is available at odds of 10/3 or better (4.33+) in general.
The sensible move is to take this chance to cover all the bases. After all, it’s a stroke of good fortune that the last game left in the acca is the standalone Monday game, giving you plenty of time to lock in a profit.
For example…
Say you’ve got £1 on the acca at 119/1. If Liverpool win, the acca returns £120.
If you today stake £10 on the ‘Double Chance: Draw or Crystal Palace’ bet at 10/3, then that scenario would return £43.33.
Taking that option would mean you’re guaranteed a profit no matter what happens in tonight’s game - with the biggest payout still weighted in favour of the Liverpool win.
Come on you Reds!
