Here are our predictions for this week, along with Mark Lawrenson at the BBC:

Stat Attack: Penalty potential at St James’ Park…

Newcastle v Burnley, Sat 3pm

Fourteen games in, and Newcastle remain winless. Burnley are only doing marginally better, with one win from 13 attempts in the Premier League. The Clarets have drawn 4 of their last 5, including a 0-0 at Wolves on Wednesday night.

Considering both teams’ struggles, one goal might be enough to nick it here. And it might need to come from the spot…

• 4 of the last 9 meetings between these clubs in all comps have finished 0-0 or 1-0

• 3 of Newcastle’s last 6 home games have seen a Penalty scored

• When these sides last met, in the EFL Cup in August, it ended 0-0 – with Burnley winning it on a Penalty Shootout
