In Across the Leagues EXTRA today:
- World Cup on the horizon…
- Domestic leagues return this weekend…
- Standout stats on our website: 80%, 90%, 100% trends…
Top trends: Everton are in the 100% club…
I didn’t find much to entertain me during the recent Nations League games. But the next time we’ll be looking at International football, it’ll be for the World Cup in November. And it doesn’t come any bigger than that. Over on my Across the Leagues members-only service, I’ll be running a DAILY email service for Qatar 2022.
Right now, though, with October approaching, and the evenings starting to draw in. The domestic leagues return to action this weekend…
Look out on Friday for your ATL Extra email with the latest round of our Premier League Predictor game. And before that, I’ll be putting together my Weekend Preview email for members, highlighting standout stats match-ups for the weekend games.
Talking of standout stats, here are some top-rated trends for you, all of which come from our unique website (get access here…).
Premier League:
We’re 7 games into the Premier League season. So far, a couple of noteworthy frontrunners in our flagships stats departments are:
- Everton and West Ham – both with 86% records for Under 2.5 Goals (6 games out of 7), including 100% strike-rates at home
- On the high side of the Total Goals coin, Arsenal, Fulham and Leicester all have 86% strike-rates for Over 2.5 Goals
- Fulham and Leicester also both sit top of the Both Teams to Score table, again with 6 payouts each out of 7
I’m always interested to see how long a 100% trend will run for…
- In the Premier League, Everton are so far 7 out of 7 when it comes to Over 3.5 Cards bets

Championship:
The stats throw up some eye-catching 100% and 90% trends in the Championship…
- Preston have a full-house for Under 2.5 Goals results (10 games out of 10). They’re the lowest scorers in the division
- West Brom are ranked no.1 in our Championship chart for Both Teams to Score, with 9 of their 10 games seeing goals at both ends (90%)
- Millwall are the top team for Under 10.5 Corners backers, with 9 of their 10 games producing fewer than 11 Total Corners

League One:
The majority of teams in League One have hit the magic 10-game mark now, making for some nice round percentage numbers in the current 2022/23 formbook:
- Wycombe are the no.1 side in League One for Over 2.5 Goals right now – with 5 out of 6 away games seeing 3+ goals, and an overall 70% strike-rate
- Wycombe crop up again when we consult the League One Corners tab on our website. With 90% of their games paying out on Over 10.5 Corners
- If it’s goals at both ends that you’re after, then Charlton are a team to look out for. Ranked in 1st place for Both Teams to Score, with 8 out of 10 games ticking the box (80%)

League Two:
- Leyton Orient have won 7 games in a row in League Two – with Northampton next behind them in the Form stats, with 4 wins in a row
- Sam Hoskins (Northampton) is top scorer in League Two with 11 goals from 10 games. And 7 x Anytime Scorer payouts makes him one to follow in the Scorer markets
And in the realm of the 100% trends…
- Mansfield have landed Most Corners bets in 10 games out of 10. The Totals table on our site shows Mansfield have won more flag-kicks than any other team in the division (80 in 10 games = 8.0 Corners For per game average)
- Newport are 100% for Under 10.5 Corners – with their games averaging just 7 Total Corners per game

Plenty of pointers there, as we head towards the weekend fixtures. And those examples only take in the Premier League and English Football League. Our website also carries the latest stats and form from the Scottish Premiership… and the top divisions in Spain, Germany, Italy, France, Portugal, and more…
